Yeah, I don't use my twitter. In fact, I kind of hate twitter. I hate reading a news article and having to read stuff like "Insert Celebrity Name tweeted this comment" and I just want to scream at someone like "This is news?!" Ugh. It's some oddly popular game that the cool kids play. Sure, I could tell people in 140 characters or less what I'm doing every ten minutes, or I could just wait till I get home and make a full length journal post with no restrictions. =P

Twitter and I are not friends, even though I signed up out of curiosity.

I have Facebook too, and I never use that either. Except for Pieces of Flair like once a month XD

lol My mom was the one that told me of Twitter's existence; before then I had no idea what it was at all. She said it was popular and that I should look it up, so I did, and had no idea wtf it was, so I just left it at that >.>

Also signed up for Facebook when like six or seven of my friends all asked me to get an account...but I really couldn't be bothered with it as I'm busy enough as it is on Mene and don't need any more distractions, so I just left it there too XD

I first heard of Twitter a while back when there was some incident in Egypt where a guy used his Twitter to tell people he was arrested and needed help or something. It was a big deal. I looked at the site, but it really is a confusing mess. You have to want to learn how to use it, otherwise you'll hate it. I don't care about mine, thus I hate it. Most of my twitters are about how much twitter sucks XD

And these days, sites want you to merge everything together. Gaia wants you to merge with facebook. Other sites want you to update your livejournal with your twitter tweets. Sites want you to put the same status message on facebook, twitter, and myspace. I hate that. I don't want the people in my life to stalk me on Gaia where I do goofy things. My facebook, in no way needs to be connected to my livejournal where I post smutty fanfiction XD Some things just don't need to merge together.
