@Wifey - Yeah, exploding vampires are better. Though have you ever seen Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust? The vampire falls in love with a human and there's this scene where he walks out into the sunset towards her and he's on fire and burning, but still out there for her. Now that's what I call a romantic vampire! He's risking his death for her. No fucking sparkles.

And yes, that's typically how vampire lore goes. Vampires can't be in the sun because they burst into flames. They are repelled by garlic and can be killed with a wooden stake through the heart. They don't freaking sparkle! Unless they like diamonds and that's a different matter altogether.

lol The doctor said that I'm almost already through with it, being one week into the cold-ness, but he gave me lots of pills for the coughing and my un-breathable nose. ^^;

I always found how vampires burst into ash or die in the sunlight weird...I mean, dead bodies (what they technically are) don't just fall apart at the ray of a sun D:

@Fading: Well a lot of them are over 200 years old. So that means if their were naturally buried They would be dust. I think. It goes along the lines of if they hadn't been vampired they would be already dead. Or something. But that's just my theory.

That's true. Some vampires do turn into ash don't they? Ah well, it's all quite similar, unlike the sparkling bit.

Personally, I'm not all super knowledgeable about why vampires do what they do. I don't think every vampire is oh so cool and dreamy, but that seems to be how they're generally viewed.

Vampires used to be really ugly, wrinkly baby eaters back when they were first invented. I think it was only until the Dracula age that people started changing the vampires from ugly to uber sexy.
