For-Chan Cookie 07-20-2010 11:15 AM

Aww. I missed Mooneyes...and everybody.

Sephiroth 07-20-2010 11:23 AM

Hey Cookie. :)

For-Chan Cookie 07-20-2010 11:25 AM

Fading *glomps* How are you feeling? :D

Sephiroth 07-20-2010 11:28 AM

Pretty good I guess, eyes still feel weird, but at least I'm not trying to tear my hair out from the pain anymore. :)

It's going to take around a month before they fully heal though. Going to have the stitches removed next week on the 27th...not really looking forward to it, more ouchies for me. :(

For-Chan Cookie 07-20-2010 11:31 AM

That's very good. I'm glad it worked, even if it feels weird.

Actually, getting the stitches out hurts less than putting them in. In my experience anyway. You can do them at home if they're easy stitches. The last time I had stitches was in a cut in my foot. I had to go to the emergency room ;_; But once my foot started healing, my mom just took them out. It felts a bit weird, but it didn't hurt.

Sephiroth 07-20-2010 11:36 AM

Yeah, me too. I was so nervous during the operation I gave myself a cramp from staying rigid for so long.

Really? My experience with removing the stitches were all rather uncomfortable. I could feel the threads sliding through the wound while they were pulled out slowly. :gonk:
I didn't feel much during the slicing and stitching, the anesthetics worked pretty well and the worst pain I had was while the doctor was applying the anesthetics. :XD (Not exactly a fun experience having someone jab needles into your eyelids multiple times and not being able to see what was happening...)

For-Chan Cookie 07-20-2010 11:41 AM

Yeah, it felt really weird! But it didn't hurt. Although, since your eyelid is pretty small and delicate, you never know.

Uuuuugh *shudders* It's bad enough when they numb you up at the dentist so much that your cheeks and eyeballs go numb. I can't imagine intentionally numbing up your eyelids. x_X

Naoto-chan22 07-20-2010 11:42 AM

COOKIE!!!

For-Chan Cookie 07-20-2010 11:43 AM

Naochi *huggles*

Naoto-chan22 07-20-2010 11:53 AM

I just gave you a bird Cookie not that you need them >.>

For-Chan Cookie 07-20-2010 11:56 AM

@Naochi - :D Thank you. These birds are easier to collect than the peacocks were. For the peacocks, you could only give away the cheap blue ones. For the Paradise birds, all four rotate in and out as gifts. Which is good. I collected all of the peacocks on my main account, but not on my other one...not that I really use that one as much. It has no friends anyway ^_^;;

Sephiroth 07-20-2010 12:03 PM

-shudders- Well, in any case, I hope it doesn't hurt.

Haha, yeah. When the anesthetics were first applied, my eyelids were completely numb and I couldn't open my eyes anymore. But then as the operation progressed, I could gradually feel stuff again, and could feel the doctor sliding the needle and threads through the eyelids and then snipping the thread. Didn't hurt, but definitely felt weird. By the end of the operation, they had begun to tingle and while icepacking them, they had really started to hurt. So the first thing after my dad and I rushed home, I wolfed down three bites of (a late 1:30pm) lunch and then quickly went for the painkillers. They really helped, I was almost in tears at that time, both from the pain, not being able to see, and being pissed off at my mom who called, asked two or three questions regarding the operation, and then promptly started asking me about how I was doing at the cram school classes I was attending and [s]demanding[/s] asking me about my grades there. Wtffffff. (I have a class today, but I'm not attending as I really don't want to show up with my eyes all stitched up. I probably wouldn't be able to see the blackboard anyway wearing my glasses, as they don't fit my eyes.)

I'm still wondering how I'm going to attend classes this Thursday. Probably wear my glasses and don a large pair of sunglasses over it or something. No matter which way, I'm going to end up showing up looking like a weirdo. :| -sigh-

For-Chan Cookie 07-20-2010 12:08 PM

Poor Fading *hugs*

I have to say, cram school culture is so odd to me. Most people here never go to an additional school outside of their regular school classes. There might be study groups or tutoring, but cram school really isn't a common thing. What do you go to cram school for and why? Why isn't regular schooling enough? I'm just curious :D

Naoto-chan22 07-20-2010 12:08 PM

either that or the residential high kid Fading

For-Chan Cookie 07-20-2010 12:11 PM

Fading will be that creepy pervert guy that none of the girls want to sit by.

Naoto-chan22 07-20-2010 12:16 PM

I would sit by Fading  but then again i'm the perv none of the girls wanna sit next to :(

For-Chan Cookie 07-20-2010 12:19 PM

So you'll be two pervs together then. :insane:

Sephiroth 07-20-2010 12:21 PM

Yeah, I don't get why cram school's so popular here either. I mean, I've never heard of any good ol' American kid going to cram school classes, they might have some other classes like maybe piano, dancing, football...but for stuff like math, writing and stuff? :gonk: I really hate those classes but everyone's taking them so my parents decided it's good for me too and I've been going to cram school since junior high school. :stare: In college I haven't been going to cram school, but for this year's summer break my parents wanted me to take the GMAT exam so...off to cram school I go again. :headdesk:

...

ROFL. :XD

Haha, we could be the two top pervs in class then, creeping everyone else out!
I don't mind not having anyone sit by me though, I love sitting alone because sitting with some stranger is just awkward for me. I don't like being near people I don't know. :(

For-Chan Cookie 07-20-2010 12:25 PM

Well, I know some people here take a study course for college exams like that, but that's about it. Cram school is a rare thing otherwise. I just think it's interesting that it's the thing to do there and in Japan. That's just no fun at all. So much time spent studying!

I'll just be that quiet girl that sits by you and has random outbursts of insanity.

Naoto-chan22 07-20-2010 12:28 PM

whoah Fading Top of the class more bottom of the class for me :)
I'm the teachers nightmare and I am damn proud of it, I would be so be like Usagi in class :3(and in case your wondering yes I did just do a Sailor Moon reference)

I never really cared for Studying but that because I remember everything I see and hear so when I study my brain goes into and overload and then I forget, plus I'm a good guesser:yes:

For-Chan Cookie 07-20-2010 12:29 PM

Naochi might bottom out for grades, but she'd be a top class perv!
