I think in request/quest/RP threads it's okay in the beginning so you can organize all the stuff. They actually recommend you start out with at least 5 in some places.
You should check the rules though just to make sure...

Double posting is allowed in a few cases, like setting up a thread and reserving a spot or two for additional information. Or if your thread has fallen off the front page and a few hours have past, you can have one legal double post to revive the thread with a comment (not a bump).

My ears hurt from the headphones I'm wearing to listen to the computer with. The thing I hate about watching things online. The volume tends to fluctuate and I find myself turning the volume up and down, up and down to try to catch what's being said. Using headphones is much better, until my ears get tired. And I hate earbuds, so that's out.
