*Google's Kitty's house* I am so stealing your fireplace time. xD
@Red: What story? |
@jelly the lottery by shirley jackson
|
@Red: Is it a short story? 'cause the title sounds familiar.
|
there is no fire going right now. |
@Wifey - Yes I can! *burrows around like a cookie mole*
@Kitty - Oh, well, look forward to seeing it :D @Jellybean - We have a fireplace too. But being down south, we rarely use it. My mom is a fan of those stupid fire logs. |
@jelly yeah i had to read it for my comp 2 class
|
@daemon: Math, English, biology, textiles & fashion (that's a class where you're always sewing your own thing), Latin, and P.E.
Math is soo boring, but that's because for me it's really easy. I'm supposed to be two levels ahead in math, but my mom's afraid I'll get too much homework. I dislike my English teacher. Too tough. People say he's even worse than the honors teachers! Biology would be an okay class if we didn't mess with living things. But that's biology for you. So... it shouldn't be required to graduate IMO. I LOVE Latin! P.E. is ewwie and dangerous. Textiles & fashion is a lovely class to learn to sew in. |
@Cookie: I doubt you want to follow me off the internet and join me with my mom. Or do you? *grins evilly*
|
@Cookie: Both my mother and the in-laws have one. My Mother can't use hers because it's broken. And the in-laws can't use it because they have too much crap in front of it.
@Red: *goes hunting for it online* It sound soooo familiar. I swear I have read it before in either my English 101 class, or my Creative Writing class. |
here you go its the story http://www.classicshorts.com/stories/lotry.html
|
@Wifey - Maybe. Where are you going on the internet? It might be interesting :D
@Jellybean - Despite my mother's hoarding ways, she keeps that part relatively free of crap because of her love of fire logs. Of course, we still have frogs by the fire place and now there's a piece of furniture there supposedly meant for my brother's home, but nobody ever took it there. |
@Cookie: Where am I on the net...I don't know. I think I'm lost. XD
I was reading Alice in Wonderland earlier though. ^_^ |
@Wifey - I'm in a dozen different place. Gmail, livejournal, Mene, youtube, a few fic sites, a place to watch Criminal Minds and the site of my local ren faire :D
|
@Red: Thankies!
@Cookie: I looked at all the crap that is right in front of the in-laws fire place and they need none of it! The house is small enough as it is. *rolls eyes* |
@jelly welcome its a great story but i dont wanna have to write a essay on it
|
Back from my shower all ^_^
|
@Jellybean - You'd die if you came here. My room alone is awful (my fault completely). My mom's bedroom, our spare room, our kitchen, our garage, pretty much everywhere else, my mom has stuff crammed everywhere, except the living room. That tends to be the most clutter free.
|
welcome back naoto. |
welcome back @ naoto
|
Thank you Kitty and Red
|
@Nao: Welcome back!
@Cookie: I don't mind clutter. I do it myself way too much too, I just don't see the point of having a bunch of crap you obviously don't need, 'cause no one ever touches it, in front of something as wonderful as a fire place. |
*jumps Jelly*Thank you ^_^
|
@Cookie: Hm....I can have up to two windows and four-six tabs open. More than that and I can't pay attention. I tend to lose the screen.
|
@Jellybean - Try using about fifty purses. If you were a fashionista and used a different one every day, sure. My mom uses the same damn purse every freaking day, but still has a couple dozen extra purses -_-;
@Wifey - I only ever have one window open and keep about ten to twenty tabs open at once. |
Cookie:My mom has to have a new purse every season change yet she yells at my when I get one *sighs*
