Hello all! Welcome to the results thread. :D

I have to say, this was a tough contest for me. There were a ton of excellent entries, and I had a rough time choosing my favorites. I actually made an initial list of favorites, and I put off choosing the finalists until today because I was so torn. :gonk:

I was mighty impressed with the Egyptian and Goddess entries in particular, so a round of applause for you on those.

Since there were so many great entries, I've decided to add a few extra prizes here and there, so stay tuned for some announcements! :XP

★ Celestial Category ☀

In the celestial category, our winner is...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...ars/Libra1.pngFerra! My eye is drawn to this avatar, as Librans (really one in particular ;)) are people who amaze, yet baffle me. I really think you captured the sign of the Scales here, and I'm pleased to see a Zodiac avatar. I'm all about star signs, so there's yet another reason I was drawn to this one. :XD The color balance is nice, and while the two shades of greeny turquoise don't match, they compliment each other nicely. It flows and is balanced, which is perfect for a Libra avatar. My only thought was that it would be nice if you had a background. Perhaps the winter nights one? Anyway, bravo! Awesome avatar. :D

It is saccharine sweet, and not only includes a celestial element, but also an element of Song. :D While I think you could have gone further with the celestial theme for this entry, I can't deny my love for this outfit. :XP

This avatar is very 'Little Prince' to me, except you're more like a princess. :XP I love the flow and while some bits seem random to me (the petals for example) everything came together really nicely. And even though you're shoeless, which is something that usually bothers me, it adds a nice touch here, and gives you the golden yellow color you needed at the bottom.

'Walk Like An Egyptian' Category

In the Egyptian category, our winner is...

You worked with the limited amount of Anubis-type items that we have on Mene, and for that I applaud you. This is my favorite avatar of the whole contest. :XD Congratulations!

Honorable Mention (this category is reserved for avatars that I liked, but didn't particularly fit in the category in which they were entered - each wins 300g): Both of these were more Arabian than Egyptian to me, but they're beautiful avatars nonetheless. :D

'Worship the Divine' Category

In the Worship the Divine category, our winner is...

Most people didn't venture to cosplay as a goddess, and I thought this was an almost perfect representation of Feast. While I doubt she'd wear cake on her head, it's all in the spirit of Feast. You never know when you may need cake! The spork was an excellent addition as well -- I don't see it used much in avatars, so I always appreciate it when it is, as sporks are my favorite utensils. XD The popcorn adds a nice final touch as well. Lovely avatar!
