Buffy the Vampire Slayer
For Christmas of 2008 my aunt bought my sister and me the Chosen Collection of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Before that day I had never seen an episode in my life, and thought that it was just weird. It took about two days, and about seven episodes to get me hooked. It took about a season to get obsessed. Eight or so months later, 145 episodes later, and I couldn't even describe my love for this show. It's been a while since I finished the last episode, but I'm still just as obsessed as I was before.
When I watched Buffy, the characters became real in my head. I think one thing I loved were the vampires (first Angel, then Spike) and the fact that the main character, Buffy, is a strong, independent woman. Since when has the badass main character that is forced to save the world been a woman. My favorite seasons are 2, 6, and 7. Favorite characters are Spike and Anya. xD Oh my. I used to watch it back when it was aired on TV. My adoration was of course for Angel and Spike - though I just adore Spike's accent and fashion. So hey, did you ever watch the series Angel? As Buffy became famous, as well as the character Angel, they began to air his own TV show, which revolves around him. When the show had aired, I sort of migrated from Buffy to watching Angel instead. I think I liked it better. It's been years since I last saw either or. Dad's the one who loves vampires and werewolves. D: I used to watch these with him. |
ok well i was younger than this when i started watching it but unfortunatley i did not start on the first season so i didnt get to see Darla or Durciela but now i watch ANGEL which is a show about Angel the vampire it is so good you guys should watch it!

i have watched the first season of Angel, but i didn't manage to get as hooked without characters like Buffy or Giles there. maybe someday i will watch it.

It's been so long I can't remember anything about Buffy or Angel. Kinda sucks since I watched both shows religiously. ): All I know is that I got pretty discontented with Buffy after she was brought back to life, shit got weirddddd.

OMG BUFFY! My firend from high school got me hooked on to it! she had like every season. my favorite charater was alwas Xander and Spike. One was stupid and funny the other was too dam hot to pass up!! my favorite episode has been the musical episode, where they can't stop sing and dancing and Xander (yet again) dose somthing stupid! It was very entertaing. I also liked the episode when Willow turns all evil after Tara dies, I had very mixed emotions in that one.

I was 6 when it was on tv and it used to give me nightmares! But i watched it now and i was like wow that was really somthing. Its ok but not one of my favorite shows or anything.

Ooooh, I'm really loving Buffy! I was a bit skeptical at first, I'll admit, but the more I watched, the better it got. Now, 1/4 of the way through Season 2, I'm totally hooked! I love Giles so much. And Xander is instant entertainment. And Buffy is a total BAMF. <3

Buffy is awesome! Oh and ainebell Cordelia is really annoying in Buffy but in Angel she is really funny and cute and way less annoying. The only one who is annoying in that show is Angel himself cause all he does is be depressing.

Hmmm I now have to hunt down the Angel Series now, to see what that is like........ thank you zovilove for telling me this, Cordila funny that would be something to see

I have been completely and totally obsessed with Buffy since about the age of 6, I used to ignore my parents, turn my tv on late at night just to watch it, it was an addiction. I've been with the show since it started. My favourite character always was and always will be Willow, whether she's geeky, evil, or whatever, she's amazing... My favourite seasons are 4, 6, and 7. I love the musical episode! I watched Angel the moment it came out too and I liked seeing the crossover episodes involving Buffy or Willow, and even ones that had Faith. throughout The first three seasons of Buffy, I despised Cordy, but seeing the change with her character in Angel after she received her gift from Doyle changed my perspective and she became one of my favourites on Angel, next to Fred. I have never really liked Wesley and hated him even more on Angel after what he did... Both series are truly amazing and Joss Whedon is a GENIUS!

i really need to watch Angel, but i am such a joss whedon fangirl. i watched dollhouse and the beginning of firefly but i got busy and never finished.

I started watching Buffy when I was ten or eleven. My best friend and I were both in love with it, though I swear it was my dad who got me to love the show. It's a shame it doesn't come on TV anymore. It was a really good show.

Fox used to play it all the time on Saturdays and stuff, but then they stopped for some reason, and I think the Space/Sci-Fi whatever it is where you're at, still plays it but really late at night, I think they play Angel still too... I don't really know what channels it's played on anymore because I have the seasons on DVD so I don't really have to worry about it... I know that if you go here, they have all the episodes for all the seasons.

they are such good show ahh but i almost finished Angel season so i am sad.
and everyone i know says it has a bad ending so i am waiting. |
I really disliked the ending of Angel, it continues in the comics so I thought that was pretty cool, but they really ruined it and it made me mad.
