"Ivan.... Why don't you want the throne?.... What if I'm really the princess and my family won't let me be with you because you're not royal anymore?.....or what if your parents will hunt us down?....." she said scared at how close she had come to getting severly hurt and had made it out of there with just her small bleeding scratch on her cheek.

Ivan pulled her close, "If I hadn't of done that they would have killed you." he said softly and kissed the cut on her cheek, tasting her blood. "I lied before about them likeing you, they never acted that nice to anyone unless they are planeing on getting rid of them. I also gave it up because they would never really let me be with the one I love if i stayed the prince and I also never wanted to be king." he said and kissed hr cheek again. "but if I can be with you then I will be your loyal guard who will protect you from everything and everyone so that I may have you for myself." he said softly and continued to walk.

"They wanted to kill me?!" she said shocked as they walked. She couldn't believe it. They had been so nice to her. "Theyre really good actors if they wanted to kill me..." she said and shuddered. Then she realized why. "I shouldn't have mentioned being part werewolf.... That wouldve changed things a little bit..." she said and shook her head feeling stupid. "They wouldn't have wanted to kill me then..."

Ivan sighed and looked at her "no nesisareily, they probably would have still wanted to kill you because your not of Royalty. They are very picky about who they want me to marry to so I just decided to take fate into my own hands and finally pull away from them." he said as they steped out of the palace.

"that makes sense... They sound a little over protective to me..." Ebony said and smiled at her little joke. she walked with Ivan out of the palace and then out the gates. The gates slammed shut behind them and Ebony jumped a little at the sound. Her ears rang for a few seconds and then cleared. As they walked threw town people where taking double takes and then hurrying away from them. Wondering what they were so scared of Ebony looked behind them and gasped. "Ivan, guards!" she said and turned his head as a huge wave of guards came after them.

Ivan smirked, "I knew that they would probabaly do this." he said as he took Ebonys hand and began to run. But then after a while he picked up Ebony and carryed her. He was going to make sure that they didn't kill her, he didn't care if he died for got killed. He darted out of the enterence to the village and continued to run, not careing where he was going.

"Ivan! Tree!" Ebony said and wrapped her arm around him and held out her hand. She caught a tree branch and by sheer momentum try swung up onto the tree. Ebony balanced perfecty on the branch and held onto Ivan balancing him. "We can hide in the tree until they sniff us out.... If all else fails I'll fly us out of here." she whispered and put a fingurento her lips. She met his eyes and smiled. Then like a stealthy cat she dissappeared into the dark branches.

Alexia watched them fight and started to inch out of the room. She didn't want to be with the huge thoughts and when the king and queen yelled about the new heir she started to run out, she didn't want to overhear personal things like that. She ran towards the door that was on the other side of the room and tried to follow Ivan and Ebony.

Ivan smiled as he watched her dissappear then heard a sound and looked down. Alexia had been running after them and he quickly reached down and grabed. her he pulled her up and sat her down on a branch "stay here and stay quiet" he said as he also dissappeared into the leaves of the trees and stayed as quiet as possible.

Ebony could feel her animal side wanting nothing more than to fight these guards. She growled ever so quietly and bit her lip. She flinched as she drew her own blood. she wipped it and looked at it. Gold.... It was still gold after everything.... Odd... She then turned her attention back to guards. They stopped suddenly at the base of the tree and began sniffing the air. Without thinking Ebony walked out onto a branch reavaling herself and said power lacing her voice and turning it to silk,"What are you looking for? Us? I think you're mistaken." she said and jummped to the ground landing lightly. "Tell me...." she said walking in their stunned ranks caressing their faces as she passed. "Why are you hear?" she asked and they replyed," To escort you safely from the city." Ebony acted touched,"How sweet. Ivan and I dont need your help thank you.... But.." she said her eyes sparkling with an idea. "You can tell the king and queen we hope them the best and that when they send guards after peaceful people its quite annoying.... Oh and tell them I enjoyed meeting them... It was... Intresting." she said and kissed the general lightly on the cheek. "We'll go right away" he said and they took off like mad men towards the palace. Ebony looked up at the tree, her eyes yellow and her pupils slits. "Shall we?"

Ivan jumped down from the tree infront of her and smiled. "nice work." he said as he looked at her. He saw her eyes and frowned slightly, he wanted to see her real eyes, the ones that he had fallen in love with. "now we better go before they start to throw arrows at us." he said as he wrapped a arm around her and kissed her head happly.

Ebony blinked as he kissed her cheek and shok her head slowly. She then snapped open her eyes and looked around frantically. "What happened?! Where are the guards?! Are we safe?" she asked and turned a circle just waiting for guards to pop up out of no where.

Ivan looked at her for a second then nodded. "yeah we are safe, you scared them off. Dont you remember?" he asked as he looked at her. He wondered why she didn't remember then remembered her eyes. Maybe her other side had taken control for a second or soemthing like that.

She shook her head slowly and looked at him. "I did it?" she said questioningly. She couldn't remember a thing. One second she had been in the tree and the next second she had been in Ivan's arms.... On the ground. "Im drawing up a blank...." she said and wondered what had happened.

Ivan growled softly then kissed her head. "I think your other side came out and took control for a little while." he said softly and kissed her ear. he knew that this happend to some werewolves but it rarely happend so he was surprised that it had happend to her.

"oh.... Maybe its a little stronger than we thought...." she said and began walking with him in her arms. "Or it might be those other bloods in me.... They're probibly have more powers then the scientist could tell me...." She said and layed her head on Ivan's shoulder. She smiled at him and sighed. "Life is a mystery... but this is almost too much..." she said quietly.

Alexia started to squirm and try to turn tiny but her nerves were too hyped up. She tried to get down from the branch but running in the air. "GET ME DOWN!!!" She yelled and started to hope no gaurds were coming.

Ivan sighed and nodded "I wish I could help you in some way." he said softly as he looked down at her. She was perfect and deadly, she could love him and yet kill him. It was how he liked it and he kissed her head softly really wishing that he could just go back and stop this from happening to her.

Alexia started to squirm even more and looked at the two kiss and stuck her tounge out with a fake barfing sound. "How can you guys kiss it's so gross. Now please get me off this branche." She said slightly irritated.

Ebony blushed hearing the girl's words and pulled away from Ivan. She looked up and smiled sheepishly. "Comming," she said and gracefully jumped and swung up onto a branch. She climbed up to the girl and hesitantly rapped a arm around her. "You're going to have to trust me." she said and held the girl and stepped off the branch. She landed lightly barely making a sound and nothing jarring her or the girl. She set the girl down and smiled. "better?" she asked and looked her up and down making sure she wasn't hurt.

Alexia nodded and started to walk off with a disgusted look on her face. "Y'all can go on with your macking session." She said as she waved and instantly ran into a trap. "Ugh how can they have more grace snogging than I do walking." She said as she took a dagger out and slit the rope falling flat on her face with a loud thud.

Ebony smiled at Ivan and then herd a thud. She sipped her head to look at the girl and gasped. She ran to her side and helped her up. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?" she asked worriedly and herd a noise she had been dreading. Horse hooves and tons of them. "We have to get out of here." she said to the girl and ran to Ivan. She took his hand and looked into his eyes. "I think they're comming back for more..."

Alexia got confused they were just horses. She waved at the Ebony half heartedly. "Y'all go ahead I'm not afraid of anything." She said as she changed into a light brown hair faerie that was large not small. She held two daggers in her hands hoping the two would just go and let her handle the "evil people" that she thought were just horses. She was good with animals and plants so she wouldn't care if it was horses.

Ivan looked at Alexia, "you better hide, it will probabaly be more guards and they will probabaly kill you to since you where with us." he said then smiled at Ebony. "lets get out of here, I dont want to see you get hurt." he said as he began to walk.

She ignored them. "I don't care I don't want to be with you so why would I care where you went." She said with anger in her voice.
