Ohh, I see~
Ohmygosh. Your new avatar is so... new and sparkly! :o Pretty~ |
I like changing clothes here. :) Which is a pity, because I'll put together an outfit and realize I just need one more item, a splash of color here or there, and I'll simply *have* to spend my gold in shops to get some 300gold accessory.... :S
You are going to give me a seizure!
Think of your panda slippers!!! |
Why am I going to give you a seizure? *ish puzzled*
And of course I think of my panda slippers. |
Because you change so often and each change is so different. :P
LOL. I like changing! I think that's just me. In fact, I've never understood the people who can have the same avi for months at a time.
Well, perhaps not for MONTHS at a time... but, for me, I probably only change my avatar on here like 1-2 times a months. There are contributing factors, however; for instance, I don't have a whole lot of gold on here yet. If I had a lot of gold, would I change my avi more often? Probably. Because, I remember that when I used to play Gaia... I had a ton of gold and items, so I was ALWAYS mixing and matching different looks. But, for here... it will still take a bit of time until I can frequently switch it up.
Maybe that's why my avis don't always work -- I have a lot of items, but I'm saving gold, so I wind up with lots of incomplete outfits.
I think your avis are marvelous!
Thanks!
Well, this quest has kind of been ignored during my RPs -- but I'm still saving up. I'd love it if people could come and chat with me, though... *makes moony eyes*
Hmm... I spot bubble tea. Are you a fan of bubble tea? I am a fan of bubble tea.
Also, your purple rave glasses are so out of place... but they are cool, none-the-less. |
They're supposed to be steampunk, I think... <.< What would you suggest instead? I needed something for the head, but couldn't find anything that didn't look frilly or wasn't a hat.
I *adore* bubble tea! The store calls it an "iced latte," but it's SO bubble tea. |
If you want simple, just use a hairband! I mean, the glasses are nice... just pick a brown or blue one or something.
Ooh, new invention time! Bubble Latte. Aha, brilliant. Yes, yes, thank you, thank you! *bows* ... Although, chances are many bubble tea stores sell one with coffee flavor, so it may not be as original as I thought... dammit! |
... Yeah, the one at my university has coffee and tea bubble drinks. Problem is, everything they sell is super-sweet, and I swear even when I ask for soymilk, they still use dairy in everything.
(b'dur, why aren't our quests affiliated?) |
I have no bubble tea joints around my area. *sadface* If I want some, I have to take the bus into downtown... and I'd rather not.
Are you lactose intolerant? I believe I may be, a little bit... but I haven't bothered to test that theory. It would do me no good, anyhow, since I will actually die if cheese is removed from my diet. (Now they are. :)) |
I've never been officially diagnosed, but my allergist said not to bother if I'd worked it out myself. Problem is, I react to Lactaid brand milk, too. o.O But I'm fine with soy.
I'm also fine with most cheese, those soft yummy kinds (like brie) give me gas. |
I've never had that kind of issue. The only problems I get are in my stomach and intestines... but I never know what causes it. I can assume lactose may be a factor, but it's not like it affects me worse than anything else, so that's why I just continue with it.
What's funny is that while cheese gives me gas, ice cream makes my bathroom time... "uncomfortably productive," to put it gently, and plain old milk makes me feel sick and wobbly in my stomach. I have totally different reactions to the various incarnations.
Wow, that is really odd! Perhaps it involves other ingredients in the productions... I dunno. That's kind of depressing, though... I can hardly live without all those things. It's amazing how you can do it.
I try to be moderate. Milk's not a problem; I drink soy now, though not even much of that. Mostly I drink water. (And coffee, and tea...) Honestly, though, I simply weigh the inconvenience of the side effects with my desire for a milkshake/ice cream/brie sandwich. Usually desire wins...
Haha, I can totally relate! Even though I have so many issues, my will-power still isn't strong enough to motivate me against my desires. Which... can be bad... since I often eat very, VERY unhealthily.
Oh, I totally sympathize. I've been struggling with my weight since puberty. I'm pretty proud, though, that in the last year I've stabilized the numbers and taken what I consider major positive steps towards fitness -- getting my chronic ankle instability addressed in physical therapy, seeing the eating disorders specialist, stuff like that. Learning what sort of baggage I've been carrying around all these years has given me a weapon against my problems.
That's actually really inspiring. Not many people have the motivation to go through all that, so kudos to you!
I just got really sick of it being a problem, about a year ago. I still have a long way to go, but I don't feel like I'm slipping backwards all the time now. Just slipping back a step, then taking two forward. :P
