Hiroshi and Daichi began putting away the chess set.
Hiroshi smiled, "I'll have the veggie chowder." Daichi nodded, "Same." "The vegetarian fried rice please," said Lupine. |
Richard looked at Cindy, "That's a great saying. I need to use it now. Either that or find a T-shirt with that on it."

Cindy laughed at Richard. "I dont know if there is a shirt with that on it..." She stares into space thinking for a moment... "Maybe." Cindy shrugged when she looked back at Richard.

alex picked up the tray,walked over to the table and placed a bubble tea in front of each person."ok so that's two veggie chowders and a vegetarian fried rice coming right up."she wrote down the order and walked over to Richard"I need two veggie chowders and a vegetarian fried rice Richard."she said

Hiroshi smiled, "Thank you very much."
Daichi smiled politely and closed the case to the chess set. "Mmmm..... My daughter was right. This tea is wonderful, thank you," said Lupine with a smile. Daichi took a sip, "Yes its delightful." "Delicious," said Hiroshi. |
"I'll get right on it," Richard told Alex. He turned to Cindy, "Don't worry I'll be back soon enough."
He went to the kitchen, washed his hands and got started on the veggie chowder. As he was boiling the chowder he grabbed some precooked rice and placed it on the frying pan. He added egg, some seasoning, and a few vegetables into the pan as well. He mixed up the rice and placed it onto a plate. Vegitarian Fried Rice Richard style "And now the chowder," He stated out loud. He went back to the pot and added a few potatoes, corn and some onion. When the chowder was done cooking he grabbed two bowls and filled them up with the chowder. He then placed a few chopped green onions on top of the bowl. Veggie Chowder Richard style Richard then placed first the rice, then the two bowls onto the ordering counter. "Order up!" He called to Alex. He then washed his hands and went back up to the front. He wondered who it was that ordered food, for the first time in days. He was smiling the whole time. |
Alex eyed the fried rice"uh Richard plz tell me you didn't put eggs in here cause well its not vegetarian then."she stated

"That is the way fried rice is made," Richard stated, "And vegan is when you can't eat eggs. Vegetarian just means you don't eat meat. If you want to make sure ask him if he's vegan or vegetarian before giving him the dish."

"Hello again Richard." Cindy said smiling at him. "Alex, he's right, vegetarians can eat eggs, just not meat. My friend and I had a discussion last night about that." Cindy nodded looking back at Richard "You cooked that really fast." Cindy giggled.

"Some items were cooked before hand," Richard said, "Makes it faster to serve people. Better to have them wait minutes instead of hours. A really well cooked mean take a few hours, depending on what you want."

"Ah. That makes sense." Cindy nodded.

"In other words he wants to flirt with you more so he made it all before hand."Alex laughed and picked up the tray on food and walked over to the table and placed the dishes down infront of the person that ordered them."Um I was wondering if you would rather have vegetarian fried rice or vegan fried rice the only difference is there are eggs in the vegetarian.I just want to make sure cause we can have the cook make you a new batch of fried rice if you don't want it to be made with eggs."She said while rubbing the back of her head and smiling.

Cindy's eyes went slightly wide for a millimoment. "Sure whatever you say Alex." Cindy laughed even though she kinda hoped it was true.

Hiroshi smiled, "This looks wonderful thank you."
Daichi looked up from the book he was reading and nodded politely. He always was a man of few words. Lupine smiled, "We're vegetarians. Eggs are perfectly find, thank you." |
"uff da I just wanted to be sure cause I didn't to go insult you in some way or form by giving you eggs. Cause I've had customers go and cut my breaks for doing far less."Alex said with a nervous laugh

Lupine gasped, "Cut your breaks?! Who on earth would do such a thing?!"
Daichi looked rather ticked, "I certainly hope you reported the person!" Hiroshi looked stunned, "You weren't hurt were you, dear?" ((Just out of curiosity but are you Norwegian?)) |
"I have no clue who would do that and I didn't cause I didn't think of it at the time, but I have a sneaky feeling he'll be back cause the girl he was with liked the food here. And no I was not a little ticked off yes and I missed a few hours of work to get my car fixed but thats all."Alex said with a smile

Hiroshi shook his head, "Someone like that shouldn't be allowed to come back." He handed her a card, "My brother is chief of police. Give HIM a call. He'll get things moving along faster than the other officers since he's in charge." Daichi got an unsettled look on his face, "Our daughter told us about this place..... Perhaps she shouldn't be allowed back without an escort." Lupine nodded, "Yes. We should have one of our servants with her at all times." |
Alex took the card"thank you but I'm fine I have a couple of the guys that work here to make sure that nothing bad happens. I'm safe here then your daughter should be safe coming here cause we don't allow anything bad too come to our customers." She stated

Daischi rose an eyebrow, "Then why were there bruises on her wrist the size of a man's hand?"
Lupine started to get nervous. She played with her napkin. Hiroshi sighed, "Ahem. You will have to forgive my son. He is very protective of his only daughter." |
Alex's eye twitched"your daughter wouldn't be about yea high with long black hair, and silver eyes."she said motioning with her hands the height and length of hair.

"Well that's not exactly true," Richard slightly blushed at Alex's comment. "Um...Well if you'd like a good meal I could whip up something at my place after work. That is if you'd be interested." He quickly added.

Daichi blinked, "Yes that's our Selene. Why?"
Hiroshi shook his head, "I think what she is trying to say is the roughen who cut her breaks was the same one who bruised our Selene's wrist." Lupine's eyes widened in horror, "What?! But she said that she met a boy here and they just started dating!" |
"Uh Well he didn't have the best people skills although when she got nervous and started to cry he comforted her."Alex said nervously

Lupine fidgeted, "Well at least that's something....."
"He was probably the one who made her cry in the first place," Daichi said with a bored/mildly annoy voice. Hiroshi put a hand on his son's shoulder, "Now, now. There is good and bad in all of us. This young man can't be completely evil. He isn't is he, dear?" Hiroshi turned and looked to Alex for some sort of hope. |
