I'm making a face at pills not nature. Nature is the best cure for anything really. You just gotta know what to use. I don't know how to make poultices, but I've been learning about different herbs and plants and stuff.

Sounds like you know the good stuff then. I just know if I can eat things or not, that's all I really care about, edibility.

Good for you. I'm don't know much about things around my area but I'm learning. I'm also helping out with my moms garden. I still have trouble figuring out what is a weed and what isn't. I just know names and what they are good for. What they look like is something I still need to figure out. >_>

Yeah, identification is important for those sorts of things, just learning some plants by sight can help you with your medicinal plants. Then you can collect and dry your own for teas.

I have linden flowers and mint for tea. I think we also have some licorice plants although we haven't used them lately so I have no idea what those look like.

Oh why thank you! I aim for long. and I just wanted to wear both of my scarves today. I think it's far too grey.

Facade: No yarn, unfortunately, I ate all that up for supper. I do have this incredibly long extension cord and this long vine though.
White: Linden makes yummy tea. and mint too. I'm not such a liquorish fan, but I do know that you have to use the root for most things.

Well we haven't used the licorice in a while so it might not be there anymore. XD

why did I spell licorice the way I did? that is strange. But you never know, the plant may have grown into a secondary stage and looks different than it used to but is still there. I know that some plants will do that; have a different vegetative and reproductive stage in their life cycles many bi-annuals will live like that.

Huh, well I haven't looked there in a while. Makes sense about the different stages. I know when you farm you have to rotate crops and sometimes give the land a break at one point.

The crop rotation is all about maintaining a balance in the nutrient levels of the soil. If you have wild clovers growing through out your garden you should be fine. They are nitrogen fixers and that's mostly what needs to be put in/saved in soil that get abused and diminished in crop plantings.

Longcat is back to questing after first half of semester stole all her time. But now there is lots of time because of Bronchitis. boo. so I am back to my questing.

yeah, most of them seem like kids wanting to do vampire/romance play when I really just want to gallivant about as a monster or an adventurer. No god-moding or trying to control other's characters.
