Nothing is happening. :c I do the steps like it says and I'm still just typing English letters :c
|
You added Japanese and pressed Ok for all the windows right?
Edit- If it still doesn't work soon I will try to find some screenshots or something. |
Oh. Okay, wait, I got it to work, but the characters aren't typing out right.
Just trying for "neko" to test it, and I get ミイノラ ... miiinora? |
Ohhh right I see I see. That is the other Japanese one lol.
You want to be using Microsoft IME. Have Japanese on there but when you go are on JP (instead of EN), have Microsoft IME checked off. Lemme show you: http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h3...neseswitch.jpg |

ストレーンジさんはいい先生だよ!XD Particlesがちょっとえむずかしいって。。。 (I always get mixed up on which one to use, mostly に VS で and は VS が...でも、ちょっと上手になると思う。。。
|
Wait, wait. xD I just got Strange Dreams' words translated, and thenKuroshinigami goes and throws a whole bunch at me xD
/works harder /edit I don't know "先生" |
に: settings (describing time, place, events)
パーティーはごご6時に (at 6PM) パーティーはマリさんの家に (at the house) パーティーに行きます (at the party) で: tool, place of action (by means of, using) 車で来ます (using a car) 日本語で話します (using Japanese) えんぴつで書きます (using a pencil) 大阪で新しいシャツを買いました (at Osaka +action took place there) 庭でゲームをします (at the garden +action took place there) は: topic marker, negative sentences, "as for" 私はアメリカに住んでいます。 (I- the subject; as for me) おピザは好きじゃないです。 (As for pizza...negative sentence) The reason that は is used for a negative sentence is that が would emphasize a topic dealing with a negative issue, and that effect is not desired. が: emphasizing topic marker ももが好きです。 (As for PEACHES... positive or neutral sentence) ペットがいますよ (As for a PET... new information)- "I have a pet, you know~" Also, use it when you want new information!! - -だれがその人ですか。 - -その人がだれですか。 - -なにがいいですか。 - -トレイがどこですか。 So when someone asks a question with ga, respond with ga because it is new information to them. :) I hope this helps!! |

kuro; Ok hahaha well that's great (=w=)/~~✰
Squid; Did you understand enough of that? I can translate whole sentences or else put it all without kanji : o but it's up to you if you want that or not. |
strange_dreamsちゃん:この説明はすてきと思う!私は「が」の意味をいつも忘れている。
|
My head is spinning from all the Japanese, me thinks I will have a had time in class lol.
|
lol - it's not that bad once you get a few basic ideas down. Like the subject coming before the verb. XD
Or, to put it like Koichiben - speaking Japanese is a lot like how Yoda talks, all backwards. Japanese Grammar with Yoda He's got a ton of great youtube videos. I've got a lot of his tofugu stuff bookmarked, and find his free texfugu lessons to be very to the point and funny. |
@ジェズリエル:あれは面白かった!ありがとう!
|
I'm glad I'm not the only one who made that reference. I was playing SC IV and thought of that...then I had to make myself put the controller down and walk away...haha jk I play that game way too much XD
|
SC meaning star craft right? ;o kaze has mentioned those games to meee~ :3
|
Nope, Soul Caliber, one of my favorite Xbox games ^^ It's quite epic
|
Ohhh ok lol heard of those too. xD never played either honestly
aw darn. internet is going off : < |
I prefer Soul Calibur III of the series. My friends and I were all anticipating playing 4 with the Japanese voices, so we could hear Sooru Caribaa FOUru!!! But they didn't, all the menu crap was still in English. And they took away the non-character specific weapons classes. *pouts*
I have a deadly self built Miko character on III with twin blades. XD Most games that allow me to, I switch to Japanese voices. They just sound better. And it's funny to translate things to the rest of the people in the room. All the characters seem to have some silly little saying before the fight starts, and then there's the in-battle cries. |
In battle cries, no matter what the game is, always just sound like sex moans to me.
|
lol - 行くぅぅ!
Sometimes they say funny things though. There's one girlish character who has a habit of apologizing to her opponent after landing a critical hit. XD *BAM-SMASH* ごめんなさい!*dodge-THWACK!* |
Hmm, I've only played II and IV, so I don't know about III. I don't think they have III for xbox, do they? And I agree, the Japanese voices are better. Not as cheesy, I don't think...
And yeah, they do sound like sex noises...although I think it's funny when Cassandra stabs someone in the stomach, and then giggles. That's just a touch sadistic, ne? haha XD |
