Iku: Ahh, I know what you mean!! I didn't work in customer service, but I was in the fast food business and since I was the cashier, I dealt with the customers and their ridiculous complaints. I don't really like people in general, but I'm still polite. Even so, there were some that made me want to forget my manners (and the fact that I really don't want to go to prison) and just punch the bastards. Grr....lol

@Kuro: Oh man, I could not do that job. My job was one thing and decent because I was dealing with the same people, but dealing with someone different all the time? Noo. I did my small stint in a pizza place and that was enough. I just made the food, no dealing with customers. I did get frustrated with the people I helped though, at times. And if it got to me, I had a hard time covering it up. Because my face gets red and I start tearing up when I get mad. xD |
lol, i just giggle when they frustrate me, and they get slightly confused, and then decide they should figure out what they want before staying around a confusing person for too long....lol!!

Iku: Yeah, it can be a bitch sometimes. Actually, there were people that made me laugh, so it sort of made up for it. Fortunately for me, I'm pretty okay at hiding my emotions, so they just get a stony smile (polite, but with an aura of "get the hell out of here before I slowly kill you...") more than anything else. My internal image of me angry is an evil glare with fire in the background. It's not pretty when I really blow...
Granted, the stage before that involves angry tearing up, which pisses me off, actually...lol I don't like crying in front of other people either, haha Strange: Haha, that's a good way about it! That's how I plan to ward off muggers: act completely INSANE. Pretend an invisible boyfriend is going to beat them up, talk to self, etc. Haha :D |

@Kuro: Yeah I suppose I wear my heart on my sleeve. But sometimes I'm just really cold and stone-faced. I think most of the time I was pretty easy-going at work. Even when things did get on my nerves I would make a joke about it to myself and curse them under my breath, but comically. It's just those moments where I don't feel like dealing with things/people. When I imagine myself angry, I picture a flaming white figure with like the background all exploding and stuff. Like a cartoon or something. :XD I don't mind crying in front of others just as long as they don't focus on it. By the time I left my job and I was giving my going-away speech, everyone was used to me crying. |

We called our relatives in Japan, and I hadn't practiced my Japanese as much as I'd wanted to before a conversation with these fluent, native people. :B I mean they know that we speak English, but their English is very borked, so it can be a bit hard sometimes when your mind is not... quick. xD :lol: Well I started out speaking to my great aunt who knows very little English, and she got confused so I asked for Atsuko, who chatted for a bit then excitedly decided she would hand the phone over to my cousin who was clinging on me like a lost puppy during the whole time we had visited them in 07. She was excited, of course, but she was also very shy. Her mother told me that my cousin's English is very bad xD, even though she takes a lot of classes for it in school. Hmm, okay, because my sister lost her iPhone 3G somewhere. I'm not sure if it's just misplaced or stolen, but even if it were misplaced, it wouldn't be unlikely someone would want it, lol. But ah idk. My dad says she is taking care of it, so I think it should be okay. I was just wondering if that were an option, because if it were, it'd make the process very simple :yes:

Sorry everyone, college ended (FINALLY) for the quarter (DAMN) so I made my way back home, hence the reason I haven't been online lately.
Iku: Heh, I imagine a lot in cartoon form, too. It was worse when I was watching anime and all, though. I had chibis bouncing through my mind, ahaha. That's a good way to handle it, I think. Then again, as long as you're not beating someone senseless, most ways are a great way to handle things, haha ^^ Strange: Aww, that's so cute! I was talking to an exchange student who's English was only so-so, and the conversation was really adorable and amusing, mostly because it only partially made sense, haha.
