Yes, although whether you feel them or not there's pretty much always really small ones happening around Japan. The ones we feel in Sendai are probably due to aftershocks from the big March quake, but even before then we'd get some 4.0 quakes occasionally.

Yeah, not to mention the 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 ones that you barely even notice. It's to be expected being right on the ring of fire though. Like I said, just as long as you are okay.

Plus, I come from the West Coast of the US so I've experienced quakes before. I think it's a lot harder on people who've never felt them since they seem overly sensitive (at least at first). I know there have been plenty of times I haven't felt the quake while someone else did. Especially if you're being active at the moment or in a vehicle.
Unrelated, but I got to meet Vice Pres. Biden yesterday! We weren't introduced or anything since he spent most time talking to the Japanese kids after his speech (which I think was the right thing to do) but he shook my hand anyways since I was in the second row. :D |

Mm, same, but I don't think they really get earthquakes there. I could be wrong, but I don't think there's a lot of active fault lines on the east coast...

I have a friend in NC, and we got hit with the storm a bit, but fortunately there wasn't much damage at my house, and my friend was fine. I actually missed the storm because I'm currently on the road, so yeah.

okay lol I guess I just didn't notice. I was at my family's homes most of the times if not at the shrine or mall in a book store or clothing store most of the time, lol. Or out to eat. Ohh gosh I gotta get out my pictures noww x3
