STARTING!!!!

Hope slowly opened her green eyes. It was morning. And time to feast. She'd never consumed a human because she was on a strict diet of animals. She got dressed and did her hair/make up, like a regular person. She then gathered her things and walked out of her dark house. She was glad that modern vampires had evolved.

Ivan was hunched up in his green coat and had his hands shoved deeply into his pockets. The sun was high up and it wasn't cold but that didn't mean that he wasn't. He was always cold for some odd reason and he always wore his coat. But all of his friends said that his skin always felt like it was burning up. So to him he was a little weird, he was cold on the inside but warm on the outside. He walked down the street without a word and pulled his hat down so that the sun wouldn't get into his eyes. This was how his mornings usually started for him and right now he was headed to get a hot cup of coffee and then head out to eaither the park or find a job.

Hope quickly ran over to the coffee shop, her job. She got into her apron and took her shift at the counter. She smiled at each guest, seeing if maybe one of them was like her. They'd have to have two marks on their necks anyway.

Ivan walked into the coffee shop and smiled as he smelled all the coffee. That was the only thing that he ever drank in the morning and almost all day. He quickly walked to the counter and pulled his hands out of his pocket and finally looked up. He smiled at the girl and looked at her with his grey eyes. "a large black coffee." he said as he looked at her and pulled his hat off so that his hair could breath.

She smiled at him and nodded. "Coming right up!" She said as she turned around and started making his order. "Anything else?" She said as she placed his coffee on the counter. She smiled at him and noticed the details of his face. She liked his hair.

Ivan shook his head and took the coffee and smiled as he felt how warm it was. "can I also have a muffin." he said as he remembered hwo hungery he was. He now looked at the girl carefully and saw how beautifull she looked. This wasn't his first time being here but he never remembered seeing her before.

"Ok," She smiled once more as she went to get a muffin. "What type?" She asked kindly. This was the second time that she changed her schedule. Her work buddy Marc was NEVER at work. She always had to fill in. She was irritated with the fact that Marc was the in the bosses family. Why didn't the boss just get him in???

"chocolate" he said simply and smiled happly. He then felt a shiver go up his spine and pull his coat around him tighter. "are you new here?" he asked as he looked at her. He usually where good friends with the people who worked here but he didn't know her and he wanted to. He took his coffee and sipped it trying to get warm but knew for a fact that it wouldn't work.

She grabbed a chocolate muffin and placed it on the counter. "Actually, no. I've been working here for almost a year. I just change schedules a lot! I'm usually in the night shift." She said as she took out a recite and handed it to him. She was hoping that he wouldn't accidentally touch her skin with his hand, because unfortunately she was cold as a dead person. Vampires hadn't evolved from that yet, she usually said it was a weird problem she had, whenever they asked.

Ivan smiled "oh I see, well I hope to see you again." he said and gently took the recite from her. He made sure not to touch her since he hated it when people touched him. THey usually asked if he was sick since his skin felt like it was on fire. He then took the muffin and shivered again when he got a chill. He zipped up his jacket all the way up so that it hid his neck and walked over to a table with his foot. He took the corner seat and started to eat his muffin quietly.

"Alright, have a nice day!" She smiled as she walked into the back of the shop. She grabbed more cups and walked back to the counter, placing the cups in this little cupboard. The next customer walked up, he was a very pale man. His eyes were black, and they seemed to stare down into your soul. He had to be one of those freak vampires. "Hello may I help you?" She asked kindly. Knowing he could tell what she was.

Ivan ate his muffin quietly but kept his eyes on the counter girl. She seemed different and he wanted to get to know her better. He liked different since he was different. The got every last drop from his coffee cup and sighed when it was gone. He always loved the feeling of hot drinks going into him, it was like a heat patch for his insides. But it never lasted. He sighed and just picked at the rest of his muffine not wanting to eat it now that his coffee was gone.

The man walked closer and pointed towards something on the menu. She looked at it and turned her head back to the man. "Coming right up!" She smiled as she grabbed a cup and filled it with the new coffee they had. "Anything else?" She asked as she set the drink on the counter. He nodded and gave her a note and some cash. She gave him the recite and then she read the note. "Huh?" She asked herself as he walked through the doors.

Ivan sighed and decided it was time that he go. He stood up and slowly made his way to the door. But the got a idea and walked back over to the girl at the counter "hey do you know if they are hiring here?" he asked as he looked at her. He loved the idea of working at the place where he spent the most time at.

She then turned to the boy. "Yeah, they are!" She smiled. "Just gotta talk to the manager." She smiled as she pointed to the door with "Manager" carved into it neatly.

the morning sun shown down on a passing young girl. she was skipping school again and she didnt really care. she was in secret a hunter and rarely ever went to school. she had heard of some strange activities in the recent area and she was going to investigate. she had been searching the town since early the night before and she, like any other human, was getting tired having trained herself to mostly sleep during the day and if needed go without sleep for some time. she made her way towards her home but the alluring smell of fresh baked goods captivated her and she couldnt resist. without really thinking, something found to be lethal for a hunter, she entered the shop and instantly froze.only two people a boy wearing a jacket and a girl behind the counter. her dark emotionless eyes scanned the two quickly her face never moving. she wore all black and deep chocolate locked blended with the dark fabric.she sighed sencing no danger as she stepped slowly towardsthe counter. she carried several weapons with her. a small dagger strapped to her thigh, a cross around her neck that when you turned the little jesus a needle came out and one was able to inject holy water into thevampire and a handgun hidden away in a holter... "morning... " amina spoke softly her voice husky showing her wear(sp). she raised a brow hearing the girl call for the manger... she wondered why |
Ivan nodded and walked over to the managers. He knocked then entered, after a few minutes he came out with a huge grin on his face. He walked back over to the counter girl and another girl in all black was there. "looks like I am going to be working with you." he said with a smile. Then decided it was time to introduce himself "my name is Ivan" he said and held out his hand without even thinking about it.

She smiled. "I'm Hope." She said as she turned to the girl that had just approached the counter. "Hello." She smiled at her "May I help you?" She asked as her eyes flickered with gold. Nobody noticed, bit Hope could tell that the girl was armed. She then turned back to Ivan. "When is your shift?" She asked as she looked back at the girl then Ivan.

Ivan checked the time and smiled "my shift starts now." he said happly. He then jumped the counter and did it wish such grace that it was amazing that he was still human. He knew that he had to take off hsi jacket but he really didn't want to. He sliped if off and tucked it away. Now that his jacket was off you could actually feel the heat from his body a foot away. But he was still cold. "just tell me what to do." he said with a smile and shivered slightly.

"Ok, so all you have to do is of coarse take peoples orders. Then if they order a large mocha late you just come over here and grab a cup.." She said as she took a large sized cup, and walked tyo the coffee machine.
