You get gold from posting and from playing games. However spamming is a no no and gets posts deleted, and so those posts gold also gets deleted! D: So be sure not to spam. :3

Also read through the stickies at the top of this forum. They should help you out a lot, there are a few new user guides that I think you will find quite helpful.
