The unjust law of nature
Is not the law of nature to be followed?
Is not all who live to follow these laws? Are not parents to love their child? Are not children to learn to love from their parents? Then why do I never find love in my parent's hearts? Why do I have to be someone I am not for them to smile? Why is love a fairy tale? Why isn't our dreams more than dreams? We grow up We grow to weary and to blind to keep hold of dreams The things we held in our small childish hearts die Is this not true? It seems that ounce we reach a certain age we can not do things as we dreamed The law of nature forbids it It forbids all those who's hearts yern for another not of their race or not their kind The law is wrong We know that this is true Love is a right that should not be used against It should not be refused This being refused is the sorce of evil All evil Yet no one stands and fights this law No one is willing to challenge the gods But is not strength from the heart? And is not your strength of heart from love? If love is taken we are nothing We must stand against this unjust We must stand agains this unjust, this law of nature Where do you stand? -Seer Of the Future age 8 I wrote this when I was 8 and thought of how good it was and desided to put it on hear. I stand against this law of nature. So tell me where do you stand? And if you have any poetry like this please post! Watching Perfection Perfection walks in front of me so close, but so far from my reach. Heart screaming for him, and only him. Watching and wishing from a far seeing him, the only one in the crowd. Pain in my chest about to expload from all the hope, I feel. How is it wrong when love, rings ture? A small glint of hope in the distance, seeming impossible. My love forbidden by this unwritten law, so I watch. Waiting for my time my only chance, to tell him the truth. I love him. He is Perfection Tall Dark Handsome, Three words describe my perfect stranger. Tall, but proportions perfect in every way his features chizzled to perfection by the gods themselves. Dark, skin kissed by the sun making his glow nothing but perfect. Handsome, hair of polished gold soft and smooth angled features yet soft smoldering eyes alight with emotion and deeper than the sea. He is perfection. |
