Sorry I left so abruptly! I realized my dad had decided I was a lost cause and went out to start working on putting the finishing on the stuff I sanded....Luckily I stopped him in time because his back is reeeeaaaaaally bad ^.^"

My mom and I bought a canvas a while back, somewhat big, and new oil paints and brushes. She wanted me to paint a photo of Adam Lambert from Rolling Stone magazine and I didn't get to it this summer. While working over that furniture in the garage and having the radio on, I realized that I might actually work on it if I can put together a makeshift easil and do it in the garage....I just like it there :D

Now how is YOUR painting going Icy? I want to know about college level art classes >.<

your probably better than me but it is going well i still have 3 hours of work left.

I've only done oils three times. First time was when I was ten and didn't know what to do. I wasted the canvas :P It was a sun coming over green mountains and I was in tears because I hated it. I'm the type to murder myself if I don't like how my art comes out xD

Second time was in camp with one of those flat canvases. It was some bird, I don't even know what kind, and it was alright. Not overly fond because it was a bit blotchy...

Third time was in art classes at the art guild in town, and it was a still life. I'm rather fond of it but I think we lost it xD

Oh, wait, forth time, art guild and a still life again, but I hated it. It was on canvas PAPER and it was all floppy and I wanted to rip it but my mom stole it and put it in a frame and took it to work O_O *was horrified* she likes taking my stuff to work...but lately she's been saying, "Oh will you print that out so I can take it to work?" and she forgets it and I'm left made at her waste of paper.

I'm an animation major and i'm sitting on the ground outside with canvas paper, we aren't to priming our own canvas yet.

I take it priming means putting a back frame to it right? Or something else I don't understand xD

The canvases were on sale when we bought it, I was hsocked my mom was willing to stake any money on me painting since I usually turn my nose up at it xD I'm a CG artist or a pencil artist. I don't like to color unless I have an undo button or layers. <3 I'm so spoiled lol

Priming is taking duck cloth putting it on the stretcher bars (frame) and them priming it with gesso.

I can't remember all of it, the two things that stick out the most in my memory is his best friend and his sister, and where Cain and his servant were under the glass ;_; I cried soooooo hard....

That is sad, i know but The fortune teller says there is a deffinate possibility that he is alive because only a living person or an angel looks that good. or something like that. and he goes to see Cains sister to put her at ease.
