My tail flick back and forth as I watched the new comer, smiling a bit I stood and went around the bar and filled my glass with more milk and grabbing a pitcher of water. Going to the new guy I filled his glass with more water and left the pitcher in front of him and went back to my seat, flashing Sy a quick smile. "I wish I could manipulate an element, no such luck." Turning to the silent guy I offered him a friendly smile, "I'm Kiseiko. What brings you to this area?"

Tabitha yawned and looked up, she didnt want to go over by the new guy she already didnt make a great first impression on him. She flicked her tail lazily and layed back down. Her red eyes blinked as she looked at the ceiling.

Caleb heard he was being addressed and didnt move his position as he slowly drank his water and poured himself another cup. He turned his head to the girl, his face breifly showing in the light of the room from under his hood, he was pale and had very gentle features in his face, his golden eyes looked over to her as he quietly answered. "Caleb." He turned away to take another sip of waterbut paused before doing so. "Fatigue." He sipped his water. What was he kidding, he'd been tired since the moment he was turned, it was a downside to being a Vegetarian Vampire. |
"Hmmm the silent type I see. You look like you haven't had any blood in quite some time. I'm sure there's some you can drink somewhere in this bar, Sy has pretty much everything else." I went back behind the bar and searched the shelves and the fridge until I found some, pouring it into a glass I placed it in front of Caleb." I crossed my arms on the bar and leaned against it in front of him. "I hope Sy doesn't mind me raiding her bar," I quickly scanned the room to see if the succubus was around.

Tabitha sighed and sat up on the couch, she looked over to the other group and sighed, i better hide out in my room she thought. she stood, with a glance over at the group again she started for the stairs her red eyes were for once dull. she climbed the stairs and stopped at her door, she paused and then she shook her head and opened the door. she slid inside and sat down on her bed.

Caleb felt the loneliness of the girl behind him, by the time he turned himself to say something she was going up the stairs and then was out of sight. Turning back to the glass before him he looked up to the girl. "Is it human?" If it was he wouldnt drink it, he refused. Even if it wasnt him taking it, he had no idea what the effect of human blood would do to him. He'd never had it and feared its effects. |
"Hmmmm," I turned the package over, "This says cow blood. Why? Don't like human blood?" I leaned closer, only a couple inches from him. "Would you rather drink mine? I'm a cat," I held a teasing tone.

Gabriel's expression was almost stone as he looked at the girl. "No" Picking up the glass he drank, yes it was animal blood he could tell. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly as he felt the new blood seep into his body. "Any Human, or Human like creature." When finished he gently placed the glass down on the table, licking his lips silghtly to catch any blood caught on them. "Thank you...though." |
Tabitha stared out of the window, why is talking to people so hard for me? she thought angrily. she glanced around the room again and her eyes came to a stop on a sliver handmirror, on the handle it was ingraved, do my eternal love a tear came to her eyes and she had to look away from it to stop from crying. She got up and walked out her room and sat down on the stairs, she was trying to calm her racing thoughts. "why did he have to go back to that damn castle when he knew the coven was going to kill him"

"Hun, there's not a drop of human blood in me, I look human because I wanted to walk on two feet and interact with other species so I changed myself, though I couldn't get rid of the ears and tail for some reason." I could tell he wasn't born a vampire, "I'm guessing you were human before vampire, thus the lack of wanting to drink their blood."

Caleb raised his head to look at the girl on the stairs. Sadness was flowing out of her like a river. Slightly he changed the mood in the room to optomistic and calm. He hoped it would help. His mind wondered why she was upset. He turned his gaze back to the cat woman and nodded. "Yes I was." He ignored her other comments thought. I didnt matter if her blood was pure cat, he didnt want to take blood from any creature with human characteristics, period. [[brb]] |
Tabitha felt another emotion trying to overcome or at least lessen her sadness, she ignored it. She wondered where it came from and she looked over to see the man she had run into looking up at her. her ears flattened and her tail tip twitched but she turned away from him. She knew she needed someone to talk to but she couldnt bring herself to talk to the man. She looked back to him and waved slightly at him, she could be civil at least.

I let out a sigh, "You're the antisocial type aren't you?" I placed another packet of cow blood next to his glass, "You shouldn't exclude yourself simply because you're a vampire, it doesn't bother anyone here. As Sy would say, when you're here you're family." I smiled at him.

Caleb looked up and the cat woman and nodded. It wasnt just because he thought people wouldnt like him, he was just naturally quite, and people usually didnt stick around long enough for him to warm up to. He looked to the blood packet and really desired it, but the despair from the other girl seemed to overwhelm him. "Excuse Me." As he slightly bowed his head he quietly walked over to the stairs where the other girl sat. He took a seat on the step next to her and crossed his arms, leaning them against his legs as he sat, slightly hunched over. "Why are you sad?" he asked simply. Maybe is he could find out why, he wouldnt have to use his empathy to help. |
I sighed and went to sit on a couch. I knew why she was sad and that I couldn't do anything to help. I stretched out on the couch in a position I could silently watch the two antisocials.

Tabitha jumped and her blood red eyes dulled over, "I was just thinking about something" she said in a soft bell-like voice. she turned her head to look at her tail tip, it was twitching slightly, she watched it for a moment and then turned to the man sitting by her, "why do you care anyway?" she asked curious, "and why should i tell someone why im sad if i dont even know their name" she said looking at him, she liked his eye color it was fascinating.

"Caleb." he said softly, his voice very welcoming and gentle. "And.." Should he tell her he had emapthy? Maybe she'd want to stay away from him in fear she could never hide, no escape. "Seeing people upset makes me want to help.", yeah that worked. It was true so he didn't feel bad. |
Tabitha looked down, "im tabitha" she began, and then she chuckled when he talked about wanting to help her, "i dont think theres anyway you could help, unless you could bring a vampire back to life." she said finally. a tear escaped one of her eyes and ran down her cheek, the silvery droplet fell off of her chin onto her hands. she stared at it and then looked up at Caleb.

Caleb's face fell a slight bit. "If i knew how i would..." He reached into his pocket and took out a hankercheif. Gently he wiped the girls eyes and placed the hankercheif in her lap. He hated seeing people cry. His one and only friend died a few years back at the hands of a vampire hunter, truely if he knew how to bring them back, he would. "If thats the only way to help, Im sorry i cant do more." He tried to lighten the mood subtly and unnoticably. |
Tabithas throat tightened, "its fine, i just miss him thats all" she looked down at the hankercheif he placed in her hands. She felt another mood again, this one was supposed to lighten the mood, "Are you the one switching emotions?" she asked but let this emotion through. her hands tightened into fists on her lap and she shook, she was fighting back tears. She shook her head and opened her eyes and sighed in relief when she didnt burst into tears.

Caleb nodded gently. "Im sorry, sometimes its involuntary." He lightly placed a hand on one of her clenched fists, the emotion being intensified due to the skin contact. "I'm sure he loves you, even now...remember that.." Obviously this wasnt just a friend, it had to be a lover. The despair was just too great, Caleb took a deep breath and let it out slowly. |
Tabitha looked down and shook again. She smiled at him when he put his hand on her fist, he reminded her of him. "H-he was killed by his own coven because he changed me into a vampire and 'ruined the pure blood of vampires' they killed him because he fell for someone who wasnt a pure vampire" she choked out. Blinking her red eyes she looked up, "they tried to get me too but i ran" her ears flattened when she thought of that night.

Caleb's golden eyes looked down at his hand and he held the other's gently. "I'm sure he would want you to be happy..." He looked back up to her. "I'm sure he changed you so he could be with you forever..." His eyebrows pulled at the center gently, his expression slightly pained, for an unknown reason. "As long as he lives on in you're heart...he's never really gone.." The words he spoke pulled lightly at his memory but as soon as it had come it vanished. |
"I miss him" she said in a shaky voice, "we were going to run away and make a life together but that never happened" she looked back down, "Ive been running for three years before i found this place" she muttered. "but i still dont feel whole without him" she fought back tears again. She remembered how afraid she was running alone trying to outrun vicious vampires. She remember the rain falling in blinding sheets and how cold it was.

Caleb surrounded the girl in a emotion of warmth and placed his hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry..." He didnt really know how else to help, he felt kind of useless...His stomached growled lightly. He needed blood to survive, but he still ate human food and hungered for it. He wasnt quite sure why. "Would you like to get something to eat with me...?" |
