Sy nodded. "I understand. I was doing that job almost 200 years before I quit. Even now I always keep an ear open." She winked. "Knowledge is power."

I meowed at Sy and rolled onto my back, looking at her upside down.

Sy laughed and rubbed Kis's belly. "Happy now Love?"

Anora returned with four cups and a small bowl, which I set on the ground so Keseiko could have some while still in cat form. She hadn't heated his up quite so much, but it was still warm. She handed the cups to Sy, and Salvanis, and an extra cup in case Nicholette had wanted a glass. "Here you guys go."

I meowed, trapping Sy's hand with my paws and licking it.

Salvanis laughed lightly, "Yes, knowledge gave give one quite a lot of power. And before I forget, could you tell me if your inn needs a hunter per chance? Though I mean a hunter for food. I'd like to be able to give something in return for all that this inn can give me." he asked.
Anora came with four hot cups of apple cider then, "Thank you," Salvanis said with a smile. |
Sybella rolled her eyes and with her other hand, grabbed a mug "Thank you so much Anora." She took a sip, thinking about Salvanis' question. "Well, I tend to feel bad about putting my guests to work. But if you wish to contribute, I wont stand in your way... You may have to go out a bit though, past the cemetary, and the townm in order to do any hunting." She thought for a second, taking another sip. "This is delicious Anora. Like I said, if you wish to do something, I wont stand in your way. Just make sure you feel at home here, that is all the payment I need."

Meowing at Sy, I rolled off of her lap to the floor to lap up some cider.

Salvanis smiled, "Thank you. I think I might do just that. Though I think I'll stay for a while, it's been a while since I've had a home." he took a sip of cider.

She smiled. "Thank you, it was my pleasure." She sat back down, sipping at her own cup and listening to them talk.

Naida smiled at him. she kiss his forehead "Yes let's go make 'syrup trap pancakes..." She giggled.

Caleb gently got out of bed and got dressed, tossling his now very messy hair, yet now it look styled. Turning to her he gave her a dashing crooked smile and waited for her to get up. |
Naida watched Caleb get dressed taking the look of his body. After he was done she got out of the bed and put on the same black tunic that Caleb had taken off of her. She smiled At his new hairstyle she kissed his cheek "ready?" she asked

Caleb nodded and with a swift movment lifted the nymph, placing her on his back giving her a piggy back ride and opened the door, using his vampire speed to quickly go down the hallway and down to the kitchen. Once there he came to a stopp and looked up at her smiling. |
Naida was surprised by the piggy back and even more when as soon as she closed her eyes she was already in the kitchen. "woo that was fast" she exclaimed

Caleb gracefully let her down, kissing her forehead and walked to the fridge and then the pantry, getting all the ingredients he needed. "Chocolate chips or no chocolate chips?...hmm.." |
She watched him with a heavenly smile. She liked the faces he makes when he cooks... "I'd say no chocolate. if that's fine with you"

Caleb looking at her he nodded and saluted her like a capitain. "Aye Aye Sir." He said with a smile and placed the bag of sweets back on the shelf in the pantry. Walking to the counter he began to place everything in the bowl, perfectly measureing everything. With a whisk he quickly began to mix the batter, humming the song from a few nights ago softly under his breath. |
"Then welcome to the Phoenix Family." Sy lifted her glass in a toast. She gave a soft giggle as Naida and Caleb came rushing through the inn into the kitchen.

Anora raised her glass to that, smiling at Salvanis. "Here Here." She leaned back, lowering the glass and taking a sip.

She laughed at his gesture and watched him work from a seat at the counter.

Caleb started pouring the waffle mix into the waffle iron and closed it, waiting for the timer to go off. In the meantime we walked over to Naida and leaned over the counter smiling. "How did you sleep?" |
Naida smiled "Well pretty well since i dreamed about my parents again and you we in the dream to."

Kimmi wandered around, and saw two strangers making waffles. "Ugh. Blood is MUCH better than WAFFLES anyday." Kimmi said, walking away from the kitchen.

Sy looked up. "Welcome stranger." She smiled. "I'm Sybella the owner of the inn. If you need anything feel free to ask."
