Favourite Comedy?

What is your favourite comedy? It could be movie or film.
I ADORE Mock the Week. It is a British panel show which is like "Whose Line is it Anyway" meets the Colbert Report. The language and some of the subject matter is not for younger audiences, but the comedians are fantstic. I particularly love Frankie Boyle-he is a very dark person. Example: Lines You Wouldn't Here in a Superhero Film-"What's that Joker, you'll be back. Somehow I don't think you will be". That said I found some fantastic shows (Qi, bit of Fry and Laure, Law of the playground, would I lie to you) and comedians by watching this program. I recommend searching in YouTube if you're interested.

For films, my favourite one would be Shaun of the Dead. I pays homage and parodies zombie films perfectly. It also isn't as violent as others, although it does have it's moments. Some language, but it relly isn't that bad I think.

The Nanny is my all-time favorite comedy. But Friends and My Wife & Kids are also great.

But speaking of a comedy that never dies, it's actually Mr. Bean. It is very stupid sometimes, but I never fail to laugh everytime I watch it.

Oh Mr. Bean-funny man Mr. Atkinson is. I would recommed that you watch the "Blackadder" series. It stars Rowan Atkinson and some other British comedians in poking fun at history and modern life in Britian. There are some fantstic lines in it-personally I think Atkinson is funnier in ths.

I think they have alot of things outside of the US that are funny. But...if I had to choose i'd say Mind of Mencia is one of my top 10. I can't really decide.

To be honest, I prefer British comedy to American. I mean Hugh Laurie was a comedian and don't forget Monty Python. But whatever floats your boat...

I really loved the movie Ghost Town. Don't ask me to explain why I just know that I couldn't breathe for half of it. I also love the old TV show The Nanny, to whoever said that.

I like watching Have I Got News for You. Another british panel show taking the mic about stories that have been in the news during the past week. Good to see them joke about how bad Mr Brown is each and every week.

If we are talking about british comady though Me have give Fawlty Towers a mention. I must have seen every episode like 100 times and i still have got bored. Nothing will ever come close to topping that.

Oh i also like early My Family as well back when Nick was still in it. I can't watch them BT phone adverts on TV without laughing anymore.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I was sort of forced to see it in theaters by my parents and I have to say I thought it was great XD

Oh "Have I Got News For You"!!! Great show that is. I prefer Mock the Week though simply because it's a little edgier, cruder, than HIGNY. That and Frankie Boyle as been on every episode except the most recent. Haven't seen Ghost Town, but I have heard it was funny. I am oging to check it out as soon as I can.
