Oh, thank you for posting! Everybody seems so nice ; - ;. I came here from Gaia, and so far every avatar website I've joined besides it has such nice people.
Well, I like anime and manga, I love to draw, I love to read, I enjoy writing, I play the violin, and I like to play video games. I'm a geek. ^^"
I played space invaders! I sucked at it, but it was so fun! :'D

I happen to think that Menewsha is full of some of the nicest people around. I'm just biased XD

You should probably check out the anime forum. It's hiding away in the book form. ^_^ There's also music and game forums in Media.

I'm awful at Space Invaders, my hands get tired. I tend to play more fishing and Attack of the Fangirls.

It would seem that the longer you make your posts the more gold you get, Kimi-chan. Also, you can get more through the games. And the games are quite fun c: But then again, so is posting. And you have to step out of your shell!
@Sir.Spoon: I've been playing since I was five, but I wanted to start earlier. I'm still not that good at it though. D:

@Darkly_Doomed - Yeah, the Anime forum is a bit hidden, so I tend to point out where it is when people mention anime. ^_^ A lot of people will go into the media forum and try to chat about it.

Hi Kimiokoia. Menewsha is far more community based and social than Gaia. We encourage lots of posting and chatting with fellow Menewshans not random spamming and throwing away free golds by the bucket load until gold isn't worth anything anymore. *is totally not a cranky old Gaian* >_>

For-chan: Awwwz, not all Gaians are cranky. I've got over 1,300 posts on there, and I'm not cranky. And thanks, I really would have hated to try and start a topic in the wrong thread. It can be so annoying when people do that D:

@ Kal-Kun: you know I am a woman of few words! when around unknown people at least.

@ For-Chan Cookie: now that you mention the gold system here seems a lot more simple than at gaia. where as items over there can cost a multi millions. =/

Hmm...now that I think about it, many of the items do cost less, though I still don't have enough to buy nice but basic clothes... I guess by making gold harder to get the price gets lower. That makes sense. Huh. It's been a while since I've been reminded just how expensive the stuff on Gaia is.

@Darkly_Doomed - I've been on Gaia since '03 and I am very much cranky.

It's ok. You're just starting out and it takes a while to get used to things. But Menewsha is stuffed with helpful stickies and all that. They're always worth a read. ^_^

@Kimiokoia - People often complain that they're not getting zillions of gold when they start out here, but you don't need zillions. A few hundred will get you a nice outfit easily. Gold is actually worth something here and I like that!

Also, the quality of your posts gets you more gold than a quantity of spam. First of all, you flat out can't spam. And secondly, longer posts get more gold since we go by content.

@For-Chan: You beat me in Gaia age. I've only been on since '08 :< But I've logged on practically daily since the creation of the account with the same name as this!
@Gary Stargazer: Oh, so the games have a gold limit! That's nice! And a stable online economy is as well. Having to save lots and lots of gold to get one item isn't too much fun.

now that I've learned more about this site, I think I like it better than gaia.
It has better items for lowers prices and you don't have to slave all day to get millions of gold. :'D
now If I can just get my friends to join! :3

@Darkly_Doomed - Considering that I've been there from pretty much the beginning, I beat out most people XD

And it is nice to have a stable economy here with things you can afford. Well, there are a few things that are pricey and in demand, but for the most part after a while you should be able to easily buy just about anything you want.

@Kimiokoia - It takes a little getting used to. Since Menewsha is similar to Gaia, people come here expecting it to be just another clone done badly. But there are a lot of positive points about Menewsha, it just needs a chance. You can play the games and get up to 500 gold and you pretty much can make an outfit from that on your first day! Plus posting will add even more gold. I've earned quite a bit of gold today just from hanging around in here and greeting all the new people. Everyone has been greeted! You don't see that on Gaia do you?

Yeah! But I still love Gaia :< I couldn't give it up if I wanted to. I love the items, I have lots of friends, and it can be really fun. This place seems really fun too, but I don't think it could replace Gaia in my heart. Course, I'll probably still come here too. :>

I post somewhat often on Gaia. As long as you have something to say, and it isn't too offensive or biased, they'll just ignore you. And there are plenty of nice forums on Gaia.
Okay, so not really. This place seems to have way nicer people. But Gaia has some kindness too.

@Darkly_Doomed - I still enjoy parts of Gaia. I still like the items, even though some of them are impossible to attain. I hate the fact that these new RIG items cost more than older 03 items. That's just not right. With all the gold flooding Gaia, things are ridiculous prices and people just think that's normal. x_x

@Kimiokoia - Yeah, you don't really find that here. The mods work very hard to make this a nice community, so we don't have a bunch of little assfaces running around. There's no trolls or spammity spam.
