Probably a console game. It all depends on my mood really. I've never had much luck with MMOs and find that they usually drag out and bore me. That and the people you can talk to are usually all a bunch of misguided horny teenagers who think it's cool to kill noobs. >.>" So...I've been avoiding MMOs for a while. I've only recently decided to try out Shin Megami Tensei's new one. ._." I don't know what to think yet.

I play a fun MMO called Mabinogi, different than others I played other times. True the kids can getting annoying and then you can have the idiots in there with you, but with a good group of friends playing with you its fun. When I get bored of the MMO's I still have my consoles games XD. Oh yea and its fun to duel and kick the butts of the annoying idiots and kids in the MMO's too.

console game for the most part. They tend to be more thought out that MMO's and usually don't have glitches (usually being the key word). That and (depending on how you play these days), you don't have rude, arrogant, pig headed brats picking fights with you over the dumbest things. I can't tell you how many times I've had stupid children say "OMG, WTF is there someone in their 20's playing a game like this!"

Seriously? Dude, kid, video games have been around since your parents were kids, they were called Aracdes. Geez, it's like you exit your teens and the younger guys just don't think your allowed to have fun any more.

But anyway, console games tend to be of far superior quality than MMO's and generally (not always) work out cheaper too. Most good MMO's you have to pay monthly to use, where as a normal video game you pay for once and can cost anywhere between $5 (for the really old games) to $60 (which I don't do, I wait until they're used and not as rabidly popular)
