Saving Vampires Reputation in Literacy *stuck, tips please*

So, I am currently writing vampire "romance" novel gone wrong, and I could use some tips. It seems I have got stuck in the first kill, which is about to happen. Well, not first, unless I forget about the massacre at the beginning of the book ^^; So, those with more experience in writing about (brutal) kills, could you tell me some tips or preferences with what I could get started with this part of the book? I will be soon reaching the part where it is supposed to happen, I will post it here as soon as I get the chance.
This same topic can be found on wrong (Literature Spot) forum, but if all goes well, it won't be there for long ^o^

Honestly, your best bet is to read some horror books. You could also try watching some bad, bloody B-movie horror films and write what you see. It won't fit into the story, but it will help you practice bloody scenes.

It also really depends on the view your expressing the scene through, character personalities, and how you want the reader to react.

Good luck with it.

I've read at least 20 different horror books (I'm not sure of how many horror books & stories I've read, but I think the amount is far closer to 100-200 than 20...) and I've seen around 50-100 horror movies x3 Yup, I'm hardcore horror fan.
