Sarra came romping over to the two. She had a small baby deer that she had found after hours and hours of tracking and searching. "hey, does anyone want to share this with me?" she asked as she looked at the two.
Drew layed down at the enterence of the den. It was nice and peacefull here, no one ever bothered them and that was how he liked that. |
"Where did you find that?!" bramble said, impressed. Hazel rolled her eyes. "Alright, I will share it with you Sarra. Bramble already ate his rabbit so I am going to assume he doesn't want anymore?" She said with some laughter in her voice. Bramble smiled. "I am so hungry, I could eat a herd of deer!"

Sarra laughed, "yeah same here, but at least we can get some food." she said and bit into the baby deer. THe fresh meat and blood tasted great and she soon finished her half. She licked the blood away from her muzzle and smiled at Bramble.

Bramble took a few bites and offered some to Hazel. She nodded and took her share. Bramble then took his small portion and smiled.

Jahero a woke next to the fire. Cloud was one the other side with his baby brother Al. He got up. The cave was seemed to empty now that he had seen it filled with live and happiness. The live that they lost that years toke a tole on the pack, now it was as if they had started all over. |
Hazel went quickly back to the den to curl around her pups. She wasn't happy that the prey was low, but that meant the other Packs had problems as well, so they wouldn't attack any time soon.

Sarra got up and looked at Hazel, "I will go hutning again if the pups are hungery." she said as she looked at them. They where cute and she was going to make sure nothing happend to them.

"They don't need prey right now, just me." she was thankful for the offer though. "I am concerned though about the other packs. Listen to me talking, I must sound hysterical." She shook her head. "If we are having problems, we have the most prey filled territory. They probably have nothing right now. I want on of you to go and see what is going on outside our borders."

Sarra nodded, "but if the others are haveing problems do you want me to give them some prey or should I just leave them be?" she asked and remembered the old wolf that use to be in there pack. He had loved to give prey to others and she wondered how he was doing.

As jahero walked out of the den his land was quiet. He could see the crisp lake from where he stood. A Doe and fawn stood drinking. The Jets Plague, which is what the sickness was called, only hit the wolves. The fire that took out half of the Fire Born pack's forest along with there food. and even thought jahero's pack lost members they gained the food that the fire born pack had lost, or at less some of, more of it when into no man's land. "I wonder where the herd is" jahero spoke to him self as he watered the two deer drink and look around then drink some more. "Lets find out" He spoke as he jumped down from the den and toward the lake, staying safely far away so that the deer could see him and yet get away. He day was to be that of a follower not the leader..to the deer anyway.

Grumbling at the lack of food, Yuuki walked in to the den where Hazel and her pups were. "Hey Hazel if you ever need a babysitter I'm here to protect if need be." as she sat alittle ways off from Hazel wondering where Mato had gone.

Hazel shook her head. "We are not to help any of them. I just want to analyze our situation." she turned to Yuuki. "Thank you Yuuki, that would be a great help." she stretched and sat down. "Thought I would like to stay here until their eyes have opened." |
Sarra nodded, "I will be back before the sun goes down." she said then raced off to go and check on the other packs

Hazel sighed and looked at Bramble. "You should go with her." she said. "If you run into a patrol, she may need backup." Bramble nodded and raced after her.

Cloud woke with Al biting at his tail. He looked around to only Al and himself. Danger, Chico, and his little sister S.W Where gone and so was there father.
"Brother, I'm hungry" Al stated between bites of Clouds tail. Cloud flicks him off and stood up. "It's our turn to mark the border today Al, I'll find something to eat on the way or in between." Cloud had became jahero right hand man with in the two years passing. So now his sent marks the border line as well as his fathers. Both Al and himself started off towards the borders. |
Sarra smiled at Bramble. "nice to have you join me." she said with a smile and continued to make her way tot he boader. She soon got to the cloud teritory and looked around.

Al started to walk away from his brother Cloud. He wanted to play and run. And Wil Cloud was marking the territory Al slipped away after a bug.

Danger woke up by one of the fires in the camp. She looked around for Jahero or Cloud or Chico but didn't find any. When she saw that Chico was hunting a deer she went to watch. He successfully caught it. Danger helped him lug the thing by one of the fires and with a smiled licked his head. She could tell that her pups were just about to come but still didn't say anything as the rest of the pack could already tell. |
Bramble wagged his tail. "No problem." When they got to the White Cloud border, he sniffed it. "Smells rotten! He said, stepping back from the putrid scent.

"Doesn't bad smelling things mean sickness?" Bramble asked. He knew that some of the very old dogs at the kennel had smelled that way, and they died a few days later.
