My styles change every few months.
I'm still getting used to the pressure control on my tablet, so there aren't as many details in line art as I would have with pre-sketched work. I have gotten pretty good at working in layers, I have an example on my photobucket of a WIP. I'm not sure if I will sell anything this detailed, but: <Removed for Safety> As you can see, I got bored before I fixed her shirt/sagging. ^^;; The bandana has a texture on it I found.. somewhere. |

Are tablets expensive? I love doodling on stuff, and I'd love to try doing my own artsies but I can't use a mouse to draw to save my life. :cry: |
Well, that one took hours and involves tons of layers, so I can't promise anything that wonderful. If I did a head & collarbone shots in that style, how much do you think I should charge. I'm terrible at pricing things.
It depends on what you get. I heard there is a new Bamboo out with the same technology that the new macbooks have. There is a larger one, but it is much more expensive. |
I'm assuming Bamboo do really nice tablets? Looks pretty awesome. I bet it's alot easier to draw, too. Using the mouse for artwork just feels so weird.

I have a 2008 Macbook at home, and with a touchpad mouse, art was not an option.
