After a couple hours, Hikari decided to head home..... If you called a secret underground fort that was pratically like a house "home". "Hey Hiroku? I'm going to head home..... I'll see you tomorrow," Hikari said, smiling at him.

He shut the book and set it down.
"I'll walk you home." He said like a gentlemen. |
Hikari's face turned red. "Ummm..... Ok, but it might be tough to find.... It's a secret fort I made in the ground," Hikari said, smiling. "IT's like my home away from home.... I could show you where it is, if you'd like," Hikari said, smiling.

He stood up and held out a hand to help her up.
"Shall we?" |
Hikari smiled a little, and took his hand. "Sure," she said, and she stood up, gathered her things, and led Hiroko to her secret hideout. She stopped in a beautiful cherry blossom grove, in front of the biggest one, which was about 10 stories high. She smiled, and she pointed up in the branches, where a series of houses could be seen scattered along the branches, connected by ropes. "That's it in a nutshell," she said with a grin.

He laughed at the houses.
"How long did that take you?" It was actually a nice place. |
Hikari smiled. "A couple weeks... I finished the biggest one first so I would have somewhere to sleep," she said, laughing a little.. "Do you want to see the inside?" she asked, looking up at Hiroko.

He ran up and sat inside and by the time he got there he was reading a newspaper.
"Yup." |
Hikari blinked, and she laughed, snapping out her wings and moments later was right next to Hiroko. "Do you like it?" she asked nervously. The treehouses were all fully furnished, complete with electricity (solar and wind powered) and everything else a human being needed for survival.

"Two weeks...really?"
He chuckled and looked around. |
"Yeah! I didn't sleep until I finished the main house," she said with a grin. "After I moved the bed in, I slept for about 2 or 3 DAYS," she said, laughing at her own stupidity.

He laughed at her then walked in the kitchen.
"Got any coffee around this place?" |
Hikari nodded. "Yeah... I keep it on hand for my guests... even though nobody's ever found this place," she said, shrugging.

When she turned her back, he downed a small red package and threw it in his pocket.
"Oh, good." |

Hikari woke up the next day, and got ready for school. "I still can't believe this is happening..." she murmured after she was completely ready. She sighed, and locked the doors, gliding down to the ground as she ran to school. |
Hiroku woke up and dressed like it was any other day. He drove to school and sat casually in his car.

Hikari walked up to the shool, and she could've sworn she saw Hiroku sitting in his car.... She smiled, and she went up to the school, sitting on the steps to play her guitar..... She had brought it for Band, but she wanted to warm up before she got there. She smiled, and removed the beautiful accoustic from the case, and played, "Give a Little Bit" by the Goo Goo Dolls, and she sang it note for note as well.
