Tabitha nodded absently, when she touched the ball of light she was holding to the mirror Tabitha's eyes widened, "um thanks" she said quietly. She looked around her room and sighed, "do you know what akuma is doing?" she asked her curiousity showing in her blood red eyes. Then she backed up and smiled her fangs glimmered slightly.

“I don’t know… but if he doesn’t hurry up I’m going to go find out.” She grumbled, pacing. She was about ready to jump out the window when she heard the crack of a tree even at this distance….that was it. “Screw this…” She muttered, throwing open the window with one hand and forming a path of light from the window frame to the ground. She grabbed Tabitha’s hand, going to run down the path. “Come on!”

Tabitha followed she heard the tree snap and she wanted to see what was going on. She allowed herself to be dragged in the direction of the sound.

"You don't think...that the sound of the tree cracking...echoed...do you?" Akuma asked uneasily as the two boys dusted their hands off and sat down to catch their breaths.

Ai looked at Akuma for a moment and then turned calmly to the right, "It did." he replied.

Annoyed with how long it was taking Kari let go of Tabitha’s hand and ran as fast as she could on her own. Though she did not inherit her father’s speed, she was very quick compared to most humans. She headed straight for Ai, remembering where he stopped….

“Safe my ass…” She spat icily, walking to Ai and slapping him hard across the face…… only to put a hand on both his and Akuma’s shoulder and beginning to heal all injuries incurred down to the smallest bruise. “Stupid political nonsense! I knew angels and demons were bad but apparently you damn vampires are just as stupid. And mother wonders why I’d rather get beaten by father then get involved, Jesus Christ all mighty…” The angry girl fumed. She had two separate urges and didn’t know which to give in to……..the one to beat the crap out of him or the one to pounce on him and kiss him. He should have known it was some of this stupid political crap…She did however, at least, fall silent.

Ai didn't flinch even when Kari slapped him, instead he sighed, "If you're going to beat me senseless for lying to you, I advise you do that now, before I change my mind, hm?"

(I'm wondering...we had originally...about fifteen members, yea? Why are their only like...three of us left?)

Senseless? honey I don’t believe you had any sense in the first place.” Was the fuming Kari’s icy reply. She was tapping her foot slightly as she healed the last of any injury and shoved her hands in her pockets. Currently she was glaring at him, the very light around her sparking with anger….and something else. Kari hadn’t really cared for anyone other then kage in years……and she did care for Ai…deeply…in ways she didn’t even understand.



((I think we moved fast and they got lost XD))

Ai smiled softly, "What happened here is normal for us. I've been fighting like this since childhood, it's what I was trained for. I can only apologize for making you worry, but that never cuts it, does it?"

(then that would be about the third time we've lost them, either that or they've just given up.)

((Plot twist time XD))

Those words cut into more then one soul, including an angel watching and seeing her daughter trying to turn to stone. She hated the vampire, he made her blood boil……but o save her daughter now she had to save him before her father got to her now that she was alone….Adrielena appeared before the vampire, chains of light wrapping around him so he would sit and listen.

The angel ran a finger through her long blond curls, looking up at him. “She’s said that to me too you know….when I could do nothing for her friend red that has now been revealed to be Kage…and after her father first beat her….and I could do nothing. But she’s wrong you know… she needs someone so badly….abandoning her now….is a cowardly and foolish mistake. She needs someone now more then ever…She needs...”The angel trailed off, knowing it but unnable to bring herself to say it. She needed....needed this man she'd tried so despretely tried to drive away from her.

Tabitha stood off to the side watching the argument and then the make-up and then she looked at akuma, her blood red eyes shouting questions.

Ai let out a bitter laugh, "of course. It's always like this. Everybody always going on about the same things, 'Their-related-to-me-so-I-care-you-could-die-for-all-I-care-but-I-need-you-until-they-stop-caring-for-you', that's all I've been reduced to, a tool, not even an Angel can feel pity for me, nobody but Death can even grasp my inner turmoil, but what do you care?" His eyes turned dull again, lifeless, "But I have yet to refuse, I shall go back."


Akuma walked over to tabitha and took her hand, "There are somethings I just can't explain." he said.

Tabitha looked at akuma again and then turned around, "i need to finish my room" she said quietly,which was a lie of course her room was spotless. She flashed a small timid smile at akuma and started toward the school.

Tabitha stopped and looked back at him, she didnt know what she wanted to do, part of her wanted to run to her room and bawl for no reason and another part wanted to run to akuma and throw her arms around him. Instead she stood there staring as if transfixed to that spot

She cares for you….but judging by the fact you run away at the first time she pushes…I’m not all that certain it matters to you why should I care for you. I care for my daughter and that is all sir…because no one else will….including me in the past, for which I am ashamed….I can not change the past, but I will be a mother now…” She said quietly, seeming to be promising both the outside world and her own heart. The angel then flicked her wrist, letting the chains fall and disappear in a shimmer of light….which she soon did likewise.




Kari was clueless of all of this, walking back to the dorm where she was punching the stone floor repeatedly. She could have stopped and healed her hands, but of course she didn’t…to busy being angry and wondering where kage had run off to. How… How could she let this happen….more lies….couldn’t one person, just one, tell her the truth?
