Yeah, the decimal is kind of a useless idea, but think of it this way: When you get 3.45g for a post (theoretical) you can get to 4g faster because they gave you that decimal boost. :3
I just ignore the decimal.

I hoarded a few items and then quit for a while when all my friends left.
When I came back they were worth a lot. :3
I sold off a few of them so I could get all the CIs and stuff I missed.

@Lola: I hate the cash idea. All the good stuff is cash these days. And if you don't want to pay cash for it it will cost you an arm and a leg to get it with Gold. Although the booty grab is kind of nice if you're questing.

@Imp: Aaahh yes, item hoarding. I've gotten good at that on Gaia...although I'm trying hard not to start it here too. The little bit of Money I get won't be able to handle it. xD

I agree. I saw an advertisement about Gaia yesterday and I snorted when it said "It's free to join!" Yeah....free to join, but if you want to get anywhere with your Avi the you need to spend at least $10 unless you're really willing to earn your gold.
It's a bit ridiculous. Especially since Newbies can now technically just buy clothes instead of working for them. *huff*

when i started i had like 3k and my friend was like omg thats alot and really its nothing. I have 300k now but i cant even buy half of my dream avi so i think it really dumb. Poor new people so much good stuff they missed.

I remember getting that first thousand and being all excited about it, and now you can get like 10k in a day if you know what you're doing. It really kinda sucks.

Oh, that sucks. My b-day is June 6th so I get a WHOLE day all to myself. It's pretty awesome. And because there are 6 months between my b-day and Christmas I'm not one of those unfortunate people that only gets a few presents on either day. I'm so spoiled. xD
