Emma and Mai's Epic Labyrinth Fanfic Plotting Thread || Others may read, but please DON'T POST
Hey There Mai and Emma are plotting a Labyrinth fanfic together. It's gonna be the BOMB when we get everything settled and start writing it. Right now we've got the main plot figured out (after about two weeks of bouncing ideas back and forth, right, Emma?), and we're getting down with the nitty-gritty fine-tuning. I'll be editing this first post to change the main topics we're deliberating over\fleshing out\etc. Make life easier for both of us. * * * * CURRENT THINGS WE NEED TO PLOT OUT:

Much easier now <33 Plus this way we don't have to weed through comments xDD; Okay - I think I have his appearance figured out~ I picture him having short cut hair, tall like Jareth, and kind of muscular/slender - you know what I mean? And I don't picture him extremely dark either~ As for name - I think it should be of African origin~ 'cause I'm thinking he started out in Africa and wasn't really noticed around there due to lack of opportunity - but Jareth noticed when he was searching out he perfect staff for his restaurant - so he brought him to Ireland to work for him etc.~ What do you think? |

Anyways, yeah, that's about what I was thinking. Midway between DARK skin, and light skin--like a warm coffee and milk color? Hmm... Yeah, that would work. I do imagine Jareth throwing himself whole-heartedly into getting his restaurant off the ground and running and becoming a success, as a way to take his mind off of Sarah. |

Sounds good to me :3 That's what I was thinking :3 His thinking was if he spent all his time and effort into that restaurant - then he'd completely forget about her - and by moving it so far away, he's hoping to not even be able to visit by "mistake" ya know? ;P |

Hmmm... I guess for this one, we can wait a bit until I have some more of the fic plotted out... Now that we've got most everything else figured out, I can work some more on the Plot that Can Actually Be Understood. =P

Uh..... No. O__o;; I'm up to where he's first meeting Sarah in the castle with Rheila. But now that you mention it, I will add in a part where Jareth's throwing himself into putting together his restaurant.
And speaking of which, we also have to think of a name for the restaurant. |

I just assumed you were there 'cause we were figuring that part out and you said you could now work on it xD; Hmmm - should we have it go with the Ireland "theme"? Or should we have it outlandish like his staff? Something that kind of brings it all together so to speak :3 |
Bring it all together. Definitely. =D Like, he has a diverse staff because he wants the best and he wants it to be worldly, you know? So maybe a theme like that?

Go with what you feel would work for the fic. =D Meanwhile I'll try to crank out some more with the plot before I hit the hay (I'll tell you before the hay get hit).
