I agree with Doomfishy and Captain Howdy. Everyone's brains function differently, and we all have a different thought process. It's only natural misunderstandings and confustion arise. It's unfair to strictly call it just women.
|
Girls are confusing? It's simple, just pay attention to what we say instead of our boobs moving around, and you should be good.

We are not confusing, we just think differently from boys, and since you are, well, boys... your brains can't comprehend our amazing complexity and you become very adorably confused.
To sugar coat it :] |
Lol, confusing in what way? KeepI'd like to THINK I'm not that confusing. Like I'll generally say what I mean, I don't try to be cryptic. I just like to K.I.S....S. It Simple . . . . . Stupid. x' D |

I don't think either gender will ever completely get the other one, and that for guys, there's an old, cheesy pop song that will help you realize that you can never really understand us. We're too complicated. It's called "That's What Girls Do" (or at least that's the main refrain, and if you search that on YouTube you should get a hit) by..... well, I don't remember who, but it used to play on Radio Disney sometimes. And yes I just admitted that i used to listen to Radio Disney. That's not something I'm very proud of..... but I used to do it nonetheless.
|
i think we're both confusing in our own ways, idk, i'm pretty straight forward about things, when i decide to voice them, and most girls confuse me.
|
*Thoughtful Quill*- haha i think we can forgive you this time... :P but i know what you mean about both genders being confusing i guess...
|
Hehe most people ignored my comment. xD Its cool though...
|
awww im sorry thoth i didnt mean to ignore you D:

But here you just ignored everyone else's comments...to complain that your's was ignored... :? But about girls: Girls are confusing for the same reason that guys are. It's just the way human brains work. God forbid we all be individuals and notthink alike! |
=^^= Girls are pretty like cats and flowers and... starfish.

Thoth, it's attitudes like that which contribute to violence against women, objectification and perpetuating stereotypes. You've completely disenfranchised every woman who has ever existed by telling us that we have no unique thoughts, features, or personality traits. We're all idiots who can be herded like sheep, and only the Big Strong Man has the intelligence to see the truth, because He is obviously superior. Please tell me that you see what is wrong with all of your statements here. It honestly doesn't matter if you are joking or not. I do not find it funny when I am treated solely as a sex object for a man's amusement. |
ummmm.... knerd i dont think he meant it quite like that... idk.....
but i know girls think differently than other girls.. but they still confuse the hell out of me.. like... why do some girls think its alright to hate a guy right up until he gets over it, then hang all over him, then tell him he is dumb for thinking she has feelings for him?? TT.TT |

I am unique. I do NOT think like other girls. If I thought like most of the girls in my school I would be out having sex with people I don't care about just because I wanted to get a slutty reputation, and YES you read that correctly. They WANT a slutty reputation. If I thought like every other freaking girl in the world I would waste all of my money on makeup and thousands of dollars worth of clothes every year even though the stuff I already own is perfectly fine. I also look fine without all of the accouterments, so don't try telling me that I just think that way because I'm ugly. If I thought like every other girl in the school I wouldn't have friends, and guys, that liked me because I wasn't. Get used to it, Thoth. If you made that comment seriously (which I doubt), not all girls think the same. And, if you're going there...then all guys think the same whether or not they think they do, too. Again, I'm not trying to pick a fight. My opinion just needed to be heard. Anyway, *cough* this is turning into a heated discussion, lol. |
Thoth, that only applies in Latin America-- *is shot*
... xD Nah really. Both genders are confusing. It depends on which side of the fence you are to be more "in tune" with people. Hell, I understand boys better because most of the time they have nothing to be afraid of for their general but not total lack of shame so they're very straighforward. And hell, girls still look at me weird when I tell them I dislike pink/make-up/miniskirts/minidresses/never had a boyfriend/dislike parties/dislike drama/who-knows-what-else. I definitely break the rule to the mob-of-one-thought. And lets hope it died definitely with Stalin and Mussolini ;) In short: everyone's confusing! Say what you think, and please, pronounce your words clearly at its simplest, or my brain cell will overload! |
thanks for all your input guys....
so i now officially feel like a jerk.... o.o i accidentally made my gf cry yesterday cause i was talkin bout the army....... |
I like to believe that someone who can honestly say,
"No, that's not me; I'm not like that". Women and men are unique in every way. Nature intends us to have varies of personality traits, like, and dislikes. Some may like football; other prefer to watch horror movies; There will be someone who doesn't fit to everyone's expectations or stereotypes. The main thing is to treat everyone with respect and consider their feelings. Man or Woman. There will be someone who is just right for you. But don't expect every girl is xD Unique R'Us |
I think that anyone will think that the other gender is more confusing than their own. I find guys to be REALLY confusing, but also pretty predictable.

(if I'm right) I personally would tell my boyfriend MILLIONS of TIMES to leave me to go find someone else. That itself is not because I hate or dislike him. *Notice I never said I don't love him; I only said go find someone else* For me, I felt unhappy that he has feelings for such a person (me). **self-esteem issues** It's also a test to see if he still does love me. If he ACTUALLY left, I would be SHOCKED and DEVASTATED. *but would allow him to, because I want him happy* Of course my boyfriend puts up a fight and wishes I just ACCEPT the fact that he does loves me and only me. I think I'm this way because my divorced parents left me with my grand parents and I never knew about them until around 10 years old *as I digress* Anyway, she probably didn't mean it for you to leave and probably still harbor feelings for you. I explain to my boyfriend all the time why I feel the way I do he would understand. Your ex might have been unable to tell you how she truly feels. Either way, if you don't have feelings for her, then just tell her you can't be with her. And as for the army thing that made your gf cry.. If you are planning to join the army, I would start crying too. *you in harm's way; possible injury or death* Or just the fact violence is experienced every waking second. Ask her to talk about it and comfort her. |
ya i guess that may be it... but i mean she broke up with me. and it wasnt exactly recent.. like 5 months ago.. then i start dating holly, and BLAM! suddenly has feelings for me again..
as for the army thing, ya that was mostly why, the whole danger thing.... but i tried to comfort her as much as i could.... |

**note that I am not happy to say that nor do I actually want too** I guess I do this to just give him the option to leave so he can be happier--when I truly believe I don't make him happy even if I am so happy to be with him **my boyfriend isn't planning to leave me though  * Yeah, I even told my boyfriend to NOT GET DRAFTED. He comforted me that he would be too smart and be more likely to be working with science and computers stuff rather than the actual fighting xD *cocky, yes? But he is going to college so I hope it's true* |
