Ooh, AP Art...never took it myself because my high school didn't offer it. Damn budget cuts. Anyway, do you like it? College art classes are so much different than what I remember from my regular painting classes in high school. I'm an Art History/Creative Writing major myself, so I have quie the love for the arts. <3

@Umi: I love it! It really is a stress reliever for me. But, there are only 4 people in my class, since not many students at my school are interested in art.
I'm applying to The School of the Art Institute of Chicago this December. I want to study Art History too. :'D

SAIC is different from the Art Institute, but many people get them confused. SAIC is the school attached to the Art Institute of Chicago, which is the museum. (':

I have to say that I absolutely love Art History. I took an AP class of it in high school, and now that I'm in college last year I took Ancient Greek Art History, and this year I'm taking Japanese Art History. So far we just learned about Oda Nobunaga and how insane he was.

Confection, do you have a specific style, culture, or era that you like in Art History?

I haven't thought much about what era I would like to study. D': SAIC mostly focuses on Contemporary Art History, But I think I would really like to learn more about Ancient art. To tell you the truth, I don't know all that much about Art History. I'm taking a class called 'Humanities' second semester of this year, though, and it deals mostly with art and Philosophy.

Sometimes I watch Antiques Roadshow. :'D
But I don't have cable so I don't get the History channel. D':<
