Now she liked this.. this being in his arms business.. Yes she did.
"I'm fine.." she said, resting her face away from his. That was she didn't have to look at him and refuse the medicine and water, and everything else he would possibly try to give her. As she curled around him, she let out a small sigh and closed her eyes again until she realized that her lower half was devoid of pants... God, Asta... Her cheeks turned a fierce pink, and she shoved away from him. "No!" she cried. "Don't look at me either!" Lovely. |
Allen raised an eyebrow.
"Asta, what's wrong?" he asked, letting her push away, but not going anywhere. He was confused, she was under the covers, right? Perfectly decent, right? Right! "Asta, really, I don't see anything, you don't have to be embarassed. You're under the covers and everything." |
She was pouting from where she was, and clearly very private about her body. "No, just.. close your eyes so I can put some pants on, okay?" She looked at him and waited, and curled up with half of the bed sheets covering her lower half, just in case he could see through them or something. Asta was just one of those people who didn't like other people seeing things that they normally wouldn't. That was all.
|
"Alright, I won't look," Allen said. Obediently, he closed his eyes so she could get dressed. With his eyes closed, he noticed that he could focus more on his other senses. He could hear her heartbeat racing, probably from embarassment. He couldn't understand why, though. She was perfectly decent under the covers, right? He didn't get why girls were so embarassed about their bodies. Really, she was perfectly covered in what she was wearing... But if it made her more comfortable, he'd close his eyes so she could put on pants.
|
Asta found the closest pair of any kind of pants she could, before she was able to slip into some shorts. Really, it didn't help so much, but she, in the end, felt more comfortable. "I'm done.." she said softly, slipping back into the bed, and awkwardly keeping a small distance between their bodies. It was like she didn't know what to do with him now, exactly. Oddly enough, she was nervous now; she didn't want him to leave again...
|
Allen opened his eyes again, and was puzzled when Asta looked nervous.
"Is everything alright?" he asked. He noticed that she was keeping some distance between them. "You liked it when I held you earlier, right? I can do it again, if you want..." But he wouldn't leave. He pormised her that he'd be there, and he would. However, he would have to slip away for a little while to feed, but he would be back. He'd proven that last time. |
It sounded more like he was just trying to make her happy, rather than himself. Asta liked when she got to be close to him, yes, it was nice. But she also wanted him to be happy, and want to hold her, not do it just because he wanted to keep her content. Well, she guessed as long as he wanted to make her happy, he cared... but still!
"Well, you don't have to if you don't want to," she replied, her eyes moving away from his face. |
((...since when does the site not register a new post? You posted, but I've been checking back all day and didn't see it.))
"But I do want to," Allen replied softly. "I just want to make sure you want it as well. I don't want you to be uncomfortable." Gently, he gathered her into his arms again, making sure not to hurt her by accident. It wouldn't do for him to bruise her somehow... Her skin was warm under his, and he found himself wishing he was able to be warm for her, instead of the chill he carried now. It was strange, but he found himself missing being human. |
(It's been like this a lot recently. ): )
Asta didn't care much that his temperature was cooler, and she smiled as he pulled her ever so gently into his arms. Her eyes closed, and she relaxed. He was.. comfortable. "I'm not uncomfortable," she said softly. "If I was, you wouldn't be in my bed with me." She did say that she liked him, after all, and it should very well be verified as of now. Especially seeing as how they were in a bed together... "You'll know if I'm not, okay?" |
((strange...))
"Alright," Allen said. "I'm still trying to figure out where the boundaries are for what I am and not allowed to do." He was glad she didn't try to push out of his arms again. He really was trying to make her happy, and he was treading very carefully, so he didn't end up making her mad again. She seemed easy to set off, so he was trying very hard not to do so. He could feel the aching hunger in the pit of his stomach starting to get a little stronger, but steadfastly ignored it. He wasn't going to skip out on her so early in the evening. |
She nuzzled up to the man with a slight sigh, eyes still closed. He was still technically a man, right? But she felt horrible otherwise, about the way she'd been treating him. He felt like he was on thin ice, and then she only made it worse for him? She felt more like a burden and a pain than anything else.
"There aren't boundaries.. you shouldn't have to think like that..." He shouldn't have to think at all, quite frankly. He should just act, and wait and see what happens... not be afraid to act.. Ohhh, this wasn't fair to him.. |
"There are always boundaries, you just may not realize it," Allen replied. He held her close as she snuggled with him. She was right under his nose, and he found that he enjoyed the way she smelled. "Mmm... You smell wonderful," he commented softly. "And whatever shampoo you use makes it even better." He felt comfortable with her in his arms, and hoped she felt the same. Hopefully, he would be able to keep making her happy, as well.
|
As he commented on her smell, she looked up to him and smiled, soon enough her nose bumping his. "Thank you," she said with a small laugh. She was so close to him.. all she had to do was lean in... But she didn't.. she couldn't. Making the first move was a definite no-no for her, and she blushed, still smiling, before she looked down and away.
|
What had she been about to--? Oh. Now he understood. Gently, he tilted her chin up so that she was looking at him. Then he gave her a soft, hesitant kiss. Her lips were soft and warm against his, and his thoughts went blank. He could feel a faint pulse from her lips, but he wasn't even thinking about his hunger. All he could think about was Asta. All too quickly, he broke the kiss. While he didn't have to breathe, he knew that she did.
|
She couldn't believe what had just happened. She could have sworn her heart stopped, and she knew she certainly wasn't breathing. It was one of those kisses. The first ones that everyone loves, and the one she'd been afraid to go for. She loved it.
When their lips parted, she looked at him and blushed before looking down. Instead of saying anything, she just moved to rest against him again. She just had to keep it simple. However, she was grinning against his chest. |
"How was that?" Allen asked softly. He could hear her heart pounding, and could feel it through her body as he held her close. Now that he wasn't focused on the kiss, the sound of her heart was starting to tempt him. He mentally berrated himself, but that didn't stop him feeling the need to go out and feed. He sighed.
"I'm sorry, Asta... I need to go out and find something to eat. Can I go out for maybe fifteen minutes or so? You know I'll come back." |
It was needless to say that she was just a little bit disappointed, but she only nodded at him and smiled weakly. It was all she could do, and she couldn't really blame him for having to leave. He would come back anyway, right? Right!
Asta smiled a bit more reassuringly. "Okay.. I don't mind.." Maybe she would take a shower or something, and get refreshed. |
"I promise I'll come back," Allen said softly. He reluctantly got up and left the apartment. His hunt was quick, and if he felt like admitting it to himself, if was a bit vicious as well. Looking at his shift when he was done, he grimaced. He liked this shirt... And now it was splattered with blood.
He headed back to his apartment before he went to Asta's. He didn't want to go back to her covered in blood, after all. He got cleaned up and changed quickly, not wanting to keep her waiting. Once he was cleaned up, he went back to her apartment and knocked softly. "Asta? I'm back." |
She barely heard the knocks on the door, and with a sigh she got to her feet from her floor, and then wandered into the living room, and then front door. Of course, she was happy to see Allen, and she smiled just a little. "Well hello there, Stranger," she said. She was smiling as happily as ever though... but wait..? Wasn't he wearing a different shirt earlier?
Asta then began to think about exactly what his feeding was off of; other people, blood. Shaking the thoughts away, Asta took his hand and pulled him into the apartment. "Come on in, you, it's cold!" She still had on a tee shirt and shorts, but her hair was up messily atop her head by now. "You full now?" |
Allen grinned.
"I don't think it's that cold," he commented as she pulled him into the apartment. Gently, he pulled her into a hug. "Then again, I certainly don't mind being in here with you." He nodded a bit to her question. "I'll be alright until tomorrow night," he replied. "You don't need to worry about anything." |
With a small smile on her face, she moved willingly into his arms. "I'm not afraid of you.." She told him. There was nothing scary about the Big Bad Wolf when he had puppy dog eyes.
Pulling away from him, she poked his stomach and then moved away. "I'm not standing up the whole time though, so if you want to spend time with me, you're more than welcome to meet me in my bedroom." With a wink, she giggled, and then swayed into the bedroom before she flopped onto her bed. She was still tired, God knew why. She closed her eyes and sprawled out, her chest rising and falling with ease. |
Allen grinned when Asta invited him into her room. She seemed so comfortable around him... not that he was complaining. He followed her into her room, and made himself comfortable on the bed next to her. Gently, he pulled her into his arms.
"Comfortable?" he asked. |
Closing her eyes, she nodded and rested her cheek against his chest. "Yes, I am." Asta loved being with him now. Yes, it was sad that she was already so attached, but he just... made her happy to be around. And her small arms seemed to fit around his body perfectly. The hugs they shared were never awkward.. they always were just right, and she loved that fact too.
"What about you?" she asked, a clear smile on her face as she pulled away. It was only so that she could look at him, of course. |
Allen nodded.
"I'm comfortable," he said softly. He cuddled with her gently. It was obvious that she liked being held, so he was going to give her all he could. Gently, he laid a kiss on her forehead. "You can go back to sleep if you'd like. I'll still be here when you wake up, unless it's sunrise." |
Asta, with a happy smile, leaned in and kissed his face softly. "Okay.." she said softly, nuzzling into his body before allowing herself to relax in her arms. "As long as you're here.. I'll be okay.." And that was the definite truth. Asta was glad that he didn't mind staying with her and being with her. All that said to her was that at the very very least, he liked her and cared about her enough to possibly even pretend to like her.
