I had walked back to the office and was changing my body armor. I took the special rounds out of the special pocket in my vest.
"Mental note, don't use these on the infected." I went to throw it on the desk, but stopped right as I went to let it go. "Maybe it just doesn't work on vampires, or maybe just these infected anyway." I picked up the rounds and took one out. I looked at it closely, it didn't seem to be anything different from a normal round. I pushed it back into the clip and put it in the side pocket of my other vest. I made sure that I had everything in/on the new vest and I took the one I had on and set it on the ground. I picked up the new one and put it on. It didn't seem to be quite as heavy as the one that I had just took off. I was happy with it however. I jumped up and down a little bit. It felt good to have a little less weight to carry around. I looked out the window and noticed that light was starting to show on the horizon. I grabbed my rifle. I decided that I wanted to be different. There was something that I always kept hidden from everyone. It was a small round box, I walked around to the wall locker that was in the back side of the office and unlocked it. I pulled the box out and set it on the desk. Then I flipped the switches on the sides and opened it up. Inside was what most privates in basic called the 'round brown'.
"This is gonna be fun."I say as I smile and put it on. I make sure that the strap goes behind my head like it is supposed to, pick up my helmet for later, and walk out of the medical tent. I could feel the privates guarding the door looking at me as I walked out, I knew that they still had a fear of the hat, just as most privates did right out of basic training.

(Hey can you draw Ember? She has red hair, and hazel/Golden eyes, and she usually keeps a pistol or hand gun strapped to her leg under her dress))

I found Ken just as he walked out of the medical tent.
"Ken!" I shout to him as i run over to him. "I have something I would like to talk to you about... Is there somewhere we could talk, privately?" I as him as I look around.

((me? i'd do it for free. just for fun cause i have a cool idea for your avi. i'm not really in it for the money to be honest. i just like to draw.))

"Of course there is. let's go to my truck, we can sit in the cab so that no one can hear what we're saying." I walk over to my truck sitting at the front of the convoy. I unlock her door and open it up for her. Then I walk around and unlock my door and climb into the cab. "What's up sweetheart?"

I get in the truck and sit beside Ken. I take a moment to think of how to word what I was going to say.

"You remember that place you wanted to go? The military base."
I wait for his reply.

((Okay go ahead.))

"I remember it, I am glad that we didn't go there. The Lieutenant that came here was rude, and he was one of the higher up people in their ranks. If that's the way that he was I'm sure that most of the people there would have been just as rude as he was. If we need to contact them I can try to get ahold of them somehow. but other than that I really don't want too much to do with them. What do you have in mind.?"

I knew that what i was going to say next was next to suicidal.

"They would have medical reasearchers there, right? I need you to do me a big favor and take me there..."

I pause, thinking about what she asked me.
"You do know that it's not a very good idea to there, right? Captian White is there and he knows what you are. He could tell them and turn them against you, seeing as that's something that little son of a gun would do. But if you really want to then I can get a small group together and we can go ahead and leave. It's gonna take a while to get there. If you want to I can round up a few people and we can get moving soon."

I nod. I knew it was dangerous.
"The scientists would never let anything happen to something like me. A willing test subject." I tell Ken.
"I think that there might be a chance to find a cure for the outbreak. And i'm the key, at least something in my blood is." I explain.

I sigh as I listen to what Eli tells me.
"I just hope that they can do whatever it is without losing you. I will most likely kill the scientists if something happens to you. I don't care, I will make sure that nothing happens to you." I kiss her and get out of the truck. I knew that I had to find Sky and a few others that I knew would be willing to make the trip.

"Thank you." I say before getting out of the truck and going back into the medical tent.

If a cure was found then I could be human again. Everything could be reversed and the world would go back to how it used to be before the outbreak happened.

i layed in the hospital bed,dealing with the slowly receeding pain,as i stared at the roof of the tent and thought.the baby kicked again,and i sensed that he was hungry."he...again,i called it a he...why do i feel so sure? *sigh* i wonder when he'll come..." i was bored.very bored.i wanted to get a move on,get to the place we would all call home.i wondered what had happened to felix.something told me he was off being stupid again.but he did it for love,so i could forgive that.as long as my baby was safe.i wondered where sergeant hemora might me.i wanted to ask him about my baby.if eli was the godmother,it felt only natural that he should be the godfather.and i just layed there and wondered.

((lolz thanks Cyraus. and trust me, every drill sergeant is very proud of thier hat. i just went through basic this past feb so i know. lol ))

I went back to check on Gemini to see her awake.
"How are you doing? I'm sorry about everything earlier, if you can remember anything..." I tell her as i sit down on the side of the bed.

I didn't know how I would tell everybody what I would be doing. I wanted to wait until we were situated in the new place before leaving. That way i would feel better about leaving, knowing that everyone would be safer than they were here.

It had been a while since the last attack on the camp and with the new problems happening there was no telling if there would be a next one or when it would be. At least in the ghost town an attack would be easier to fend off in the building.

Felix ran towards the zombie attacking a woman, but the woman did a kick that snapped it's neck. She looked at me and started yelling. "Another Vampire! Bring it on!" I realized I still had my katars out, and I put them down, not seeing another zombie. "Hey, don't worry! I'm not a normal vampire! I'm on the human's side!" I said to her. She loosened up a little, but then got stiff again. "Then Kill a fucking vampire to prove it! They're on the west side of town! Bring me a head!" I sighed, but then went to the west side of the city. There were several vamps there, and I took out my katar, and did a speed dash, which seemed to be a hybrid move. I killed three at once, but then the vamps were on gaurd then. I easily dispatched two more, and then had to fight 3 on 1. I won, but one cut my right arm. why is it always my right arm??? I asked myself. I cut off ones head, and went back to where she was. But there, was a creature. It looked like an angel, except it was holding the womans dead body in it's hands. It looked to me, and I realized it wasn't an angel. It was the devil.

I didn't know what to say or how to tell anybody about me going to the military base.
Instead I got up and walked around outside for a while.

I needed to talk to someone but I didn't know who. I couldn't tell Ember, Gemini, or Kaleb.
I sat down on the ground and put my head in my hands.

(does no one notice that I'm not in the camp? Lolz... it's not a devil... its a figure of speech....)

((i know you aren't in camp. and i'm teasing about the devil thing. lol))

((i just felt like shaking my character up a bit,since nothing was really happening.i dont have any specific plans for this,so anyone can feel free to do what they want with the following information.))
i sighed as eli lefft.i remembered everything that happened.that was one of the cruel tricks my other self played.i would always see what happend as it was happening.an out of body expirience,sort of.and i could never do anything about it.and now i sensed that eli was keeping something from me."i feel so...left out.is she not telling me because of what i did? do any of them trust me anymore? probably not..." with that,i made up my mind.body still stiff with pain,i got up and packed my littlr bag that i always carried.i strapped the sword that eli gave me around my waist,and i left a note for whomever found it.and when i was done,i left.i looked back at the camp with tears in my eyes.they didn't need me there.they would be safer without me.felix saw that,too.he left after my attack."goodbye...and i am sorry..." and i turned and walked into the trees.
