I'm bored.. let's talk about Movies !
 

As I stated, I'm bored. I'm just relaxing on my couch watching Stick It and reading up on some Menewsha rules [from which I need a break]. So ! Let's talk about movies, shall we?

Has anyone seen Stick It? It's a movie about gymnastics, which is my favourite thing about the summer Olympics. I've seen this movie quite a few times but it's entertaining. :]

...wait ive heard of it, never saw it thow.

It's worth seeing, definitely. There are some really cool gymnastics routines if you're interested in that but there's also the whole 'movie plotline' so the gymnastics stuff is like a bonus. Really great songs in the movie too, in my opinion.
Although it might be more appealing to younger people, teenagers - twenties, because most of the main characters are around that age.

Never heard of "Stick It."

Just saw Where the Wild Things Are a few days ago - pretty good movie. Always interesting to adapt something that was originally only ten sentences long.

I'm planning to watch Funny People tomorrow night.

I remember reading Where the Wild Things Are when I was younger but I have no idea what it was about. I heard that the movie was an instant classic though, which is interesting [though not interesting enough to tempt me to the theatres, I'll just wait until it comes out on video].

Mm, it's at the part in the movie where the gymnasts in the competition start rebelling against the judges for their ridiculous calls.

I recently saw the secound transformers movie, not so much intrested in action but this was really kinda funny.

Aw, Tobi ! I love all the Akatsuki members, starting with the weirdest to the least weird basically [so I kind of dislike Itachi xp].

I thought the first Transformers movie was better than the second one. I did laugh quite a bit though.

I didn't like the first Transformers movie so I didn't bother seeing the second. I grew up watching the cartoon show and.. well, it was just better. :p

I do have to admit i wasent thrilled with it but my dad likes it and honestly i usially only watch if i bord. I was bord, but i think it was woth it just to see the little robot.

Bring it On was the one with Kirsten Dunst, right? I remember watching it on a bus somewhere, it ws a school trip. At first I was put off at the idea of watching it because, I don't know, Bring it On just sounded like a dumb movie, but I found it really funny and interesting. And the cheerleading routines were cool *spirit fingers*

I can't say I watch movies much, and when I do it's fantasy, sci-fi, or anime. Sometimes, I'll check out whatever might be on television at the moment, but often not very long.

I watch a little bit of everything, anime included. I get the movie channels on Star Choice and they offer a lot of variety.
There was this anime movie on a couple weeks ago called Paprika, it was about being able to enter and control people's dreams. It was a good movie, I recommend it to you, it sounds like your type of film.

Now, I need another movie to watch, any suggestions? I have a lot of movies so I'll probably have any you suggest [unless it's a really unknown independant film..]

ever try the labyrinth (sp)? LOL, i own that movie my mom and dad got it for me becuse they thought id like it. They thought they would too but it actully just scared them. They dident understand it either so i had to try and explain it to them.

I've heard of it but never seen it. It's a bit older, isn't it? Sadly, I don't own it, although I might have to obtain it.
What's it about?

Its about how this fat creates a machine so other people can enter your dreams and share the same dreams. Its used to help people who have mental disorders or for those trying to understand there dreams. But some one steals the deam machine. Then a bunch of horrors start to happen. Like the terrost with the machine starts getting into people heads while there awake and makes them walk off a cliff or something. Eventully the machine breaks and the dream world fuses into the world of reality.

Oh, and I have a couple of questions about Menewsha. I'm relatively new so I don't know about everything.

1] Why are the rules so strict? That sounds harsh but I'm actually just curious. Like.. there's no spamming allowed, like bumping and stuff, and in excess it can be bad but the rules make it sound like if done once the offender will be banned. Is that so?

2] Are there any rules about not swearing or mentioning any vulgar situations that wouldn't be appropriate for anyone under age? I'm just curious.

I probably have more questions floating around my head but.. I've forgotten them. ^^;

Wow, that sounds a lot like Paprika, that's exactly what happens in it, technology gets stolen and the people who are looking for it are ending up dead because they think they're in a dream when it's reality and they jump out windows and things. But it's not really scary.. just.. fantastical.

Ooh, a little addition to my earlier question about strict rules: is it punishable if people get off topic in their thread? And if so, why and how [are they punished]?
Also, is there like a three strikes system or just a .. 'fall off the cliff' system [in which you would get banned after one offense]?

Actully you already broke a rule, and your right there strict apprently they dont want other people like me to tell you when you break a rule. Someone sent me something asking me to read it over. They dident want me pointing out the errors becuse it makes people feel embarressed or something like that im not sure. Im not sure about the searing, but just to be on the save side i wouldent recomend any thing.The other rules youll have to read.

And why don't they want you telling me when I've erred? o_o
That sounds suspiciously suspicious and when it comes to suspicions I err on the side of caution. Please, be my informant and tell me all you know. Oh, wise, crazy one. o_o

nope appreantly it mean posting after you write something. If you need to change something yo have to use the edit button. Witch means yes your not alowed to talk to your self, i tryied once they let me go cause im a noob...actully im still a noob i joined three days ago.

Maybe it only in the fresh meat thred but im not sure. Oh i dont know if you know but you can only make 500 gold a day in the game area. ALso if you go to the word game thread you dont make any money for the time being becuse people are currently abusing the program.

But seriously, I just have to say this, even if it's heresy: if these rules are as strict as you've said, then it's definitely worthy of a Spartan "THIS IS MADNESS !"
Of course if I screamed that in my best Spartan voice it would provoke one of them into this conversation where they would reply to me, "Madness? This is MENEWSHA !" And then *blink* I'd be banned. By their foot. Kicking me into the bottomless pit of dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom [cue Gir with the doom song].

Hm. I knew about the game thing because, after quite awhile of playing Tetris I noticed that my money wasn't increasing and then I noticed the [500 Max] thing. Is there a limit to how much money you can earn on the forums?
