You've definately got an idea, how long have you been drawing for? The Gaara shows a good set of motor skills in that hand of yours.

Have you ever thought about trying to get a job somewhere where you could draw cartoons for a living. I think you could really draw cartoons. Your really good!

For the first picture, this is bugging me a lot...
The lines and CGing don't seem to be refined. As in, I can see lots of white spots between the lines and the colouring. But I don't see any evidence of that in your next CG of the bunny so I'm sure you can handle it.

CG specific, try being bolder with your shading. Use more obvious shades, go much darker with your shadow-shades. =]
