Nichole jumped backwards and looked around, the room was empty and she sighed, "i feel asleep again?" standing she stretched out her tail, twitching her ears she started in no particular direction, hoping no one would see her and speak to her. While she walked she heard a jingling sound, bringing her hand to her head she felt the cold metal of a silver bell. she pulled it out of her hair and stood there staring at it. She shook her hand making a jingling sound. She smiled and her eyes lit up. |
"I own a cooperation. Icarus inc., it was my father who named it. I'm not quite sure what they do, I sleep through most of the meetings," he said. He didn't like to brag about the company. He just got a share in the profits.

"Oh..." Lyra didn't know much about corporations, but it sounded terribly important. "That sounds exciting. I'm afraid I don't know much about business... I grew up in a temple and the only time I saw business men were during festivals or when they came to receive blessings or be purified."

"It's ok they are terribly dull, so you lived at a temple?"

Lyra nodded. "Yes. The people were very kind and taught me all I know now.... I wonder what happened to them." she said thoughtfully.

She had watched the land and sky for some time now, deciding she had better get some rest. Her body was beginning to feel heavy from the night and its events, though all she did was talked and observed. Letting the heavy curtain drop back into place she walked to her bed.
Pulling the covers back from her bed she sat then layed down, pulling the covers up and over her head. Curling into a fetal ball position, she lay very still letting her body heat warm the covers slowly as she thought about the night's events. She recalled her conversation with Kyrii and how she interacted with the other slave female, she was the only one that had not scowled or feared to talk to her throughout the night. The others shied away from her in fear, though she did not care for that. She was happy to be feared rather then looked upon as something that could easily be overcome and dealt with. She let her mind wander over the few other slaves thinking of how they were and how they could the individuals she spotted could possibly benefit her. Eventually, Nuvy's mind stilled and she drifted off to the sleep. She was sure her last thoughts were how long the ball would be going on for and when the others would leave. ((I just needed to post something, had an urge.)) |

Lyra smiled, "Just a simple temple in the country side. We specialized in exorcisms. I was one of the mediums at the temple... We also held many seasonal festivals... the fall one was my favorite cause we always had so many delicious foods." She closed her eyes and remembered the brightly decorated temple and sighed. "Have you ever been to something like that, Sir?"

((Lol and I get on myspace and theres a pic of all of us hugging and I will say "So that's what we all looked like." Than I laugh... and this is in a non sexual way but I had a kodak moment with my blanket. My dog got blood on it and I had to wash it and dry it and the blaket I had chosen to take it's place was so cold I took the one in the dryer as soon as it was done and hugged it while I put it around me it's that cold here... AND I'M ONLY IN NC... It's gonna be freezing heck when I get to michigan. *Preshivers*))

(Ouch.. i use to live in both places but Iceland was so much worse. A blizzard almost every two weeks or so... always snowing in the winter... theres only two seasons there winter and summer. The shortest day of the year is 21 hours long... its sad.. you get up for school and think another hour or so. then you get home from school around 3 and its dark again lol. I love facebook too)
