My crappy art wants to be judged!
So,I took courage...
And I would love if you want to judge my art! Ok,I know it's crappy, but I like this one... The name of my crapsie(crap+artsie!) is cause I call her Edith,so... Crappy crazyness fo crapsie! XD http://i567.photobucket.com/albums/s...at_theDITH.png |
Lol, 1, love the name of this thread, 2, it's not that bad! :D It's way better than I can do. ^_^
|
@ Fallon : Hahaha,thanks! x)
really? oh,thank you! :vicky: |
Lol, np. It's true. ^_^ I'm soooo bad at art. :P I'm sure if you open an art shop, you'll get some people. ^_^
|
I'm just good at girls in long dresses D:
ok,not. But I want to see yours to say if it's bad :P |
I love crayons. :]
|
@Zombie : I love too! *-*
But I paint crapily. D: I had to be really careful when painting D: |
Lol, I actually drew one last month, that was the best I've ever done, and I gave it to the girl that I drew for her bday and forgot to scan it! D: :headdesk: I'm an idiot... But the doll seller is realllly good. :)
|
I made stuff like this lots of times D:
My best drawings were gifts D: or I loose them. D: |
Lol, very nice. I do have one sketch that I did of some random boy. It's kinda bad, but it's one of my better ones. :P I need to scan that one before something happens to it. :P But that's cool. I am soooo envious of people that can sit down and draw something beautiful like that. ^_^
|
Scan it and show me! I want to see! ^_^~
And if you want,i could give you some tips for the things you have more trouble with. x) I made a box to prevent my crapsies of being stolen, raped(LOL),or "just disappear". xD I suffer a lot to have one good drawing in 10 good ideas [/drama] thank you! I need to show you my friend's drawings...man,they are AWESOME *-* |
Lol, okies. But don't expect anything good. :P And lol, ok wise master, how do I fix not being able to draw well? XP
And lol, that's like my friend Casey. Look up http://starfaerienomad.deviantart.com/ She's AMAZING! |
I didn't saw yet,so I can not say anything! XD
I didn't saw to say something...but I used to draw fucking badly. With time your drawings can improve (but I haven't saw anything,I'm just using my own story as example! :D WOW OMG YOUR FRIEND IS SO TALENTED *---* LOVE THEM  |
your artwork isn't that bad. i've seen much worse. what i would suggest is, to make the pic a little brighter and easier to see, outline it in pen rather than pencil, so that you can color it brighter.
|
@Binka : It was kinda bright. But my image editor made it a litte dark. D:
I will take another picture of it and don't edit... and let it brighty. x) But,anyway I like darker. And I don't know why. I used to make the outlines with pen. but my pen disappeared. XD and I couldn't make any modifications, and I had problems to make the face right with the pen,I screwed good drawings,a lot of them D: |
Well, what I do, is draw the outlines in pencil, then as you get finished, retrace those lines with pen. That way you can see it when you're done too. :)
|
I used to do that. but I'm "lucky",so I ALWAYS screwed the drawings. specially the noses and the eyes! D:

her hands are a little... off. They are very small. actually your main problem is proportion. this is a fairly good picture if you can fix the proportions.
for example lets say shes 6 feet tall (this is a little exaggerated but it gets the point across i think) the way you have her drawn is where her torso and head are two feet in length and her waist down to feet are four feet in length now an actual six foot person would be about 3.5 in length waist down and about 2.5 for torso and up. I think part of your problem with the picture is that you gave her the long dress which can cause your mind to question the proportions. My advice as I tell many people, look up anatomy pictures or go to the library and rent an anatomy book from them. this will help you learn how to draw quicker than if you would use still life's or figurines because it take a 3-d image and turns it into a 2d image so it takes a little less imagination and you can transfer it strictly into shapes if necessary. this also helps with shading :D hope this helps rather than confuse you! :D pm me if you need to :D |
I always have problems with hands.I hate them D=<
And It's a cartoon-ish drawing,so it doesn't need to be perfect. And I know that the dress is kinda weird. but that was the first time I drew an rococo-ish style dress. I usually draw 1850 to 1950's clothing. This was my first attempt to do a different thing. I normally use pictures as inspiration...but sometimes is f*ckin' hard to find a pose that I want... I liked that idea! thankies! ^__^ |
No problem! And the book will definitely help with hands. I borrowed my friends and it way improved my drawing :D
|
I want one really bad. and now I want to go to the libary too. D:
In small drawings i have no hands problem. in chibis too. just in non small I have problems.... |
I always have problems with hands too. :rawrmayor: In all of my pictures, they're always like, behind the person. :P And I also have problems with proportion. But I fail at art so I don't really bother trying. XP I just do it for fun. :) But now I want to see some of your dress designs. :P
|
the drawing is what i pretty much call... AWESOME!
|
Lol, I agree with turkdragon13! ^_^
