"Do you think I am so blind as not to see that? However your lack of concern over my death makes me question if perhaps you are truly blind to the circumstances" Talon said as his tone now seemed to drip with acid. He was going to ensure that his friend truly saw the insult and wound he too had created from this. His glare only deepened at the Prince as he silently listened. "You're merely adding insult to injury. To assume that either Alana or I need titles such as those to establish ourselves and hide behind is sickening. She and I are revered because of our own talents not by some title that was bestowed upon us. I am feared not because I am deemed your second, I am feared because of my talents as the leader of Hell's army and the top assassin. Neither of those ranks were merely given to me because of my friendship with you, nor can they be taken away by you, you and I both know that" the bat winged demon said with anger clearly laced in his tone as he closed his eyes for a few moments.

His eyes then opened to reveal a sort of calm, which with Talon was never a good sign once it was clear that he was angered. "If I am so uneducated then perhaps you should come up with a plan on your own instead of using the one I have suggested. You're heir issue could easily be solved with a common demon whore that could have easily been passed off as yours and Alana's child while the mother was different. It appears you were not the one that had clearly thought this through. I have never truly approved of you taking Alana as your mate whether or not I have said anything to you until now. I care not if you have an interest in a human instead, but I shall not stand silently by for the greater injustice you ensue upon me. I care not if you have that mutt tear me limb from limb here or you choose to end my life here before the angels and demons gathered here. I've a bargain already that I've made with Lord Lucifer that requires my end to be fulfilled so sending me back will only have me fulfill that sooner. Kill me if you so dare, but find yourself another guinea pig that will go along with your ideals" he said as his tone seemed to do a 180 from angry to calm, which again was never a good sign.

His gaze then turned to the human who had come beside Damian. "There is no physical wound on me now that can harm me as much as the one that has already been dealt invisibly. I thank you for your concern though" he said calmly with a somewhat reluctant bow. He was not one to bow to anyone other than a demon, and once more for him to do otherwise was a cause for concern. He then promptly turned his back on the two. "If you wish to kill me, then kill me. In a sense you've already stabbed in the the back, you might as well as do it physically while you're at it" he said in his still calmed voice. He could hear the whimpers of the three headed mutt and feel the slight rumblings at it seemed to back away, almost out of fear which too was quite different from his eagerness to fight only moments before.

"My only option? As opposed to simply calling off that mutt...A pathetic attempt to cover up" Talon mumbled quietly knowing full well the Prince was not there to hear it. He hadn't turned or even glanced back when Damian left. Rather his attention merely went to the three headed dog who uttered a small whimper and laid down in the midst of the ballroom, once more causing the foundations of the castle to shake. Cerberus knew when to behave and at the moment it was one of those times. He didn't seemed troubled now by the angels as his snake tail curled and coiled around him. Instead as a few boldly made an approach to him they only got a sniff from one of the three heads before they were seemingly dismissed.

Lucifer raised an eyebrow at his son as he seemed to calmly withdraw the sword from his cut and casually throw it in a pit of nearby fire to be melted down. Surprisingly he hadn't been upset and angered by his son's actions but instead merely smirked. "And which bargain might I ask be the one you wanted me to exploit the loophole of hmmm? I've made quite a few today so you'd have to be far more specific. As for your complaints the simple fact is I am the one that rules over Hell not you Damian. It is my word that is law not yours. I have every right to influence whom it is you would bare an heir from. And if I were dead Hell would cease to exist as well as its inhabitants. I am the only being keeping Methos's powers at bay from Hell. Without me here the 'King' of Heaven would simply destroy all. You, Talon, Alana, the demons whom serve, everyone. And I have already explained my reasonings behind the treaty. If you do not like it too bad" the Lord of Hell replied coolly but calmly.

Zeak watched the demon dog flop down in the center of the room. He found it a little irrisponcible to leave the angel eating beast here un attended but if thats how the prince wanted it so be it. He looked down at penelope as she had raised her head and was eyeing the dog with mush caution. it was odvous that any and all of the stories she had herd were all horror stroies.
"DOnt worrly princess, he wont dare harm you!" Zeak said still finding himself rubbing penelops bak gently. She gave him a thankfull look before going back tosuling in her current overwhelmed state.

"My stomch feels all upside down, and thats not helping any more Zeak!" She whined causing zeak to stopp rubbing her back. "The constant quakes is not making things any better!" She added only to have zeak sigh.

"Well hes stopped moving untill the prince comes back." Zeak informed as he eyed a cerious angel and shook his head. He didnt want the beast to be tested over its limits. so playing daddy to the angels was the price he would have to pay as the beast lay contentlyin the middle of the room.

"I have my reasons for bearing an heir. I won't rule on forever, but at the moment you are inadequate to rule. It is simply that fact that I will not permit certain liberties for you, when you have proven that you can truly handle them, then they shall be granted for you. As for wiping out Methos and I again you are inadequate for that job at the moment. You've still far more growing to do before you can take on such a task. Therefore any attempts that you try I will personally thwart. Any woman you choose to bear an heir I will simply kill, it's as simple as that" Lucifer said casually.

"My bargain with Talon? Ah now there was one that had many stipulations on his part. Tell me boy do you honestly think he would be so shallow as to only have happiness for that fallen Alana be granted? He offered me a far better bargain to ensure that human stayed alive than you did. Do you not think it strange that I also do not simply torture you and cause you immense pain while your up there when you displease me rather than have it befall on that bat winged demon? Or perhaps that I have actually ceased the spread of your mark on that human girl, but yet not erase it and have her be free for any and all? Or that I had not simply stopped Talon from speaking his plan to you, even though I am fully aware of it, or made any attempts to stop it before it starts? He had not simply asked for that fallen woman's protection and happiness but your own as well. He had never specifically mentioned his own. The bargain can be broken by either I or him at any time. I did not include a loophole in this one, but rather allowed the demon permission to choose when he wished for it to end, and consequentially end his sanity and possibly his life, both of which he is currently unaware of. He has not yet requested for it to be broken, however if you still desire me to break it then I shall cancel all of which it entails. That human of yours shall die, you shall be tortured and tormented continuously along with Alana with both of your happiness's ripped away, and Talon shall lose his sanity then die a slow and painful death while watching the two he holds the closest in pain" the Lord of Hell said with a simple shrug. He hadn't mentioned what it was that the bat winged demon had offered in return for all his stipulations to be met.

"You doubt the stipulations have anything to do with you? If you are so doubtful of that I could permit you to take a glance at them..." Lucifer said with a smirk and held out one hand. In a flash of fire a contract, and a lengthier one than the Lord usually had, appeared surrounded in flames. From the look of it, it was indeed Talon's stipulations that had made it rather lengthy and in larger print than Lucifer's. Lucifer's conditions were far smaller and not even visible to make out, so what was exchange was truly only known between the bat winged demon and the Lord of Hell. It was clear though, even from a slight distance, that Alana, Damian, and even Sikura's name had indeed been included in the conditions on Talon's side.

"If it's my directly telling you what I'm displeased with you doing then so be it, however I will still maintain my mental link with your second and therefore what I say to you shall still be heard by him, although yours he shall not hear. I have to ensure that demon fully listens to me as I've already the threat I've placed on him to go to the ball to begin with already in play at the moment. Therefore I've nothing to ensure he truly would obey me. That is the only way I shall allow conversing with you mentally" he said calmly removing his hand from under the contract, and have it float there by itself, and calmly folding his fingers together.

"As for your second request for the human to become demon, that shall be a bit more complicated as it is now not completely in my hands as it had been before. I have something I truly want at the moment, thanks to your second which as put me in a rather generous mood, so therefore I shall permit it. However you will also need the blessing and acceptance of Methos on this as well, and considering he desires not to increase our numbers, it will prove far more difficult than it was from me. I still will not permit for her to bear your heir nor be your Queen. Due to Talon's bargain with me I also cannot prevent or intervene in that little plan that had been concocted" the Lord continued calmly.

The moment Lucifer had summoned up Talon's bargain contract a shiver passed through the said demon's spirit, body and mind. Talon was unsure of the reason of the occurrence at first until he realized that his bargain had been pulled up. This of course made his eyes widen slightly, becoming the only physical evidence, as the bat demon seemed to internally panic. 'He wouldn't...' he thought in disarray. He hadn't requested that the contract be canceled, and he couldn't imagine Lucifer wishing to cancel it. Then again it was the Lord of Hell and just about anything was possible. It was true that Talon had been angered, upset and hurt by Damian but canceling was something he didn't wish to happen.

Cerberus meanwhile seemed rather content now among the angels and demons as he remained laying in the middle of the floor. One pair of eyes had caught the angel who had gotten rather close to him and immediately caused him to lower the said head. He was within biting range, and if the three headed dog so chose he could easily eat the angel. The angel seemed to realize this and shook a bit though extended her hand up as if to pet the nose of the giant beast. The Hell mutt sniffed the offer hand, growled lowly making it seems as if he would attack, and then unexpectedly licked the angel with one drooling tongue causing the angel to be drenched in slobber.

Lucifer laughed almost wickedly as he could clearly hear the mental panic in Talon's head. "It seems this little contract here has attracted the bat winged demon's attention and he seems to be quite panicked. So tell me, do you still desire me to destroy it?" he asked with a laugh as he motioned to the floating contract beside him.

Damien glanced over the contract and thought for a moment. It was true he was very angry at his second but he would not take it out on him just yet, or at least, not in that way. "No, I do not wish it to be destroyed"

He bowed. "I accept your conditions for your mental link and also those of Sikura. She will not bear an heir to the throne even if she does have a child. I will get someone else to do so. That is all I have to talk to you for now about. Now that we have a mental link we can talk there." He bowed and opened a door right there, returning to the throne in the room, before closing the door behind him.

He looked around for Penelope and when he found her he went up to her. "I must talk to your Father. Is there a way I can do it without talking through someone and without risking my own life by going to Heaven." He didn't sound urgent but there seemed to be a sense of importance in his voice.

(Lol yay, even if they only happen once in a blue moon it seems. XD)

"Very well then" Lucifer said with a simple shrug and once more placed his hand under the contract. He didn't have it disappear just yet and still had it showing in its full fieriness even when Damian left the area. Calmly the Lord of Hell established a weak mental link with his son, as he knew that Damian more than likely would be attempting to find a way to contact Methos, when he arrived back at the ball area. He may not have fully liked his son nor loved him, but he didn't wish to kill him even though Talon's bargain prevented him from being allowed to do so anyways. He knew that if had established a strong link and his son had found a way to communicate with the unyielding Lord of Heaven then the combined powers would surely kill the boy. Even though it was weak though Damian will still be able to hear all that Lucifer said to either him or Talon.

The Lord then brought forth what it was he had been using to watch the occurrences of the ball, as he had made it vanish when Damian had been announced and coming. His one hand still lingered under the contract still, and carefully brought it so that it was more in front of him. Then he seemed to gently run a clawed nail over the said contract, knowing he would enjoy the reaction it caused from the bat winged demon.

Talon meanwhile couldn't seem to stop shivering now. His gaze quickly glanced around, and seeing the most of the attention was now on the Hell mutt, he allowed himself to fall to one knee gently to try and steady himself. He could once more hear the opening and closing of the Door of Hell, and the presence of the Prince as he returned, and yet his body still shook. He knew that at the moment Lucifer was simply playing with him now. As the clawed finger of the Lord of Hell the bat demon's body collasped onto his side and quickly covered his head an upper torso with his good wing to hide the expression of pain and panic that was currently on his expression.

'Now, now Talon you brought this on yourself. My son may very well have something else in store for you, as punishment for angering him, but that doesn't mean I can't have a bit of fun myself. All that pride you had to swallow to offer me that bargain was almost for naught you know? It was a very close call...' Lucifer said with a laugh. He knew that his words would be faintly echoed over to the Prince as well, but at the moment he didn't mind. He laughed again as he once more ran a clawed finger down the contract lightly causing the bat demon to squirm.

both zeak and penelope watched the angels. Zeak however watched wearily as they would tip toe around the beast. Penelope on the other hadn watched everything rather bordly. She still wanst looking the best. her eyes fell on talon as she watched him go to one knee thento the floor completly. Seeing that he covered himself she opted not to say anything, it was odvous he didnt want anyone to know in the first place.Zeak noticed the grawling of cerberus . he watched for any sign of the dog lashing out at the small angel who foolishly tempted the beast. he was about to stepp in and snatch the angel away but the sidden licking made him stop in mid stepp.

Soon the prince was standing before penelope asking about her father. she glanced up at him and shook her head. "He isnt going to talk to you directly!" she mummbled before she felt her stomich give another turn. "you have to speak through me now, Zeaks connection was broken when he finally accepted his fallen status" she groand as she sat back and held her stomich. "Please excuse me i have to go puke now!" She moaned before staning and slugishly walking down the steps.

"The only way he would talk to you, my lord, is if you specifically summoned him down from his thron. But we all know hes not appt to come down for a demon, nore will it sit well with your father!" Zeak said as he fallowed after penelope who managed to make it down the steps and across the ballroom floor. She did not look good at all. her father was probably as cruel as hells lord lucifer when it came to his own children. It seemed to zeak that he was punishing penelope for being a little defyiant and for her bold ness throughout the night.
She cant take any more of these mental beaings! Zeak though with a sigh.

Penelope stumbled slighly as she had made it past the hind end of the demon dog and seemed to be on the home strech. But it was no use. he fathers punishments caused her knees to buckle and she had to sit down again. but insted of picking a place far from the dog penelope seated herslf on the floor and leand agents the animals front shoulder. she breathed heavy as it seemed she nearly passed out from the little walk she had.
"Ill be just a minut!" she muttered before turning her head and allowing herself to drift to sleep on the animal she feard gratly.

She wasnt surprised to see the dog, dia had felt some earlier rummages, and sensed it. Though the dog licking the angel she had just talked with was rather surprising to say the least, and to see the princess falling down at the dog's shoulder was more of a surprise. Her eyes widened, though she decided not to act like an idiot. First see what the dog does now shall we? It seems to know when to behave according to situations like these. Lets hope he remains having that conscious.

zeak gave a thoughtfull look as he tried to think of another way. i dont even think its possible! he thought as he managed to reach penelop who was most definatly out cold."Ahhh!" he said rather agitaed that she was not coherent. "I do feel the same....uhg but ....i dont knwo if it is at all possible!" he staed as he began to pick penelope up. he was beginning to have a rather difficult time with it.

"nnnmmm" penelope moaned angrily at zeak as he struggled with picking penelope up."stop it!" he moaned before waking up slightly and slapping Zeak away. "leave me alone!"

Zeak looked up at the angle and smiled. he figuared he could get this ifshe would only
"Stop hitting princess!" Zeak stated as he defended himself from the rather irritating slappping. Zeak stepped aside for the prince and fallowed him to the throns and waited for her responce.

"hes not yelling, hes hovering!" penelope stated as she looked up at damien. "he is being mean and keeping me protected even though everything is fine!" She whined here eyes open slightly and her head pounding. "I hate it when he does this, its not fun!" she stated before pulling her legs up and hugging them

Alana suddenly felt like somthing bad was going to happen. Unsure of what to do she stood up and created a portal to hell. She decided it was time to talk to the lord of hell himself. She walked to the nearest guard and requested an audience with Lucifer. The guard took off to find his lord and see if he would see her.
