What's the weather like for you, wherever you are?

Just wanted to know what other people were experiencing weather-wise around them. I'm in Chicago and it is raining very very hard here. It's not as cold as it has been, which is ok, but I haven't seen the sun in a very long time. Oh, autumn, haha.

So tell us, what's the weather like where you are? You don't have to say where you live, but you're welcome to if you want.

the weather has really been on the fritz lately. It started out hot and humid today, but was cool and dry yesterday. but by tonight it was cold and super super windy. Not the mention the hard five second rain showers during the day!!

BinkaKitty 10-30-2009 05:55 AM

right now, i'm in Chaparral, NM. it's only a few miles from El Paso, TX. just last week, the weather was pretty nice, not too hot or too cold. then, suddenly, it's suddenly cold. just yesterday, it got down almost to freezing and tried to snow. i did snow a few miles away, but it was just rain here.
apparently, at my parent's place, it has already snowed. my parents live in Datil, NM, which is in the mountains near Arizona. according to my dad, it snowed yesterday, about 3 inches.
i'm enjoying it being a bit cooler, but i do not like the cold. it's just miserable >_<

I live in Las Vegas and its finally decided that yes, winter is indeed here in the desert. One day it was in the 90s and the next day a nasty wind blew in and the temp dropped to about the low 70s. I hate living here. The weather can never make up its mind on if it wants to be hot or cold.

Goldenlici 10-30-2009 05:58 AM

I live in Vegas and it is pretty cold (for Vegas anyway) probably around 40 degrees at night and sunrise and sunset and about 55 degrees in the middle of the day. It is also really really windy. I don't mind the cold, but I hate the windy

haha, that's funny I was typing mine just as yours popped up. But, I think it will get warm again before it really gets into the cold of winter. My grandparents say there is some kind of storm on the west coast that is making it colder.

I'm in Seattle and it's cold and rainy! I just bought a nice wool coat though, so I'm doing a bit better, and I actually like the rain so I'm enjoying it. One of the reasons I moved to Seattle a year ago was to have more nice cloudy and rainy weather. Before that I lived in Los Angeles and hated it! Too much sun! And it's way too hot all the time!

Tegan_StarFire 10-30-2009 06:14 AM

I'm in Australia, its hot and humid over here at the moment, stupid summer:yumeh1:

Miechan 10-30-2009 06:15 AM

It's 51 degrees here, and it's breezy and rainy on/off since...the weekend. It's been a mess here on the east coast.

In Arizona, the weather is being very weird.

For example on Tuesday, the high where I live was about 88 - 9O. The very next day, the high was 64. Today, it was 67. Not to mention that it's been very windy here.

I don't like cold weather.
It makes me overheat.

Is it really summer there?? So odd, as its about to be winter here.

Flowery Pit 10-30-2009 07:27 AM

I live in California, Southern California. The weather is like all over the place. I don't understand how people believe it's perfect weather here. We have our windy season right now, and it's retarded. It's FREEZING but warm, so it's either burn up in your jacket or freeze to death. That's our winter/fall.

Spring/Summer is warm and warmer to BURNING. Dry and almost no rain whatsoever.

Chronos Mephistopheles 10-30-2009 07:33 AM

We're actually cold in Tucson right now. We're like 30 degrees below normal right now. We actually have received freezing warnings (we normally don't get thse until december if we do). Its shocking really

Sassadri 10-30-2009 07:46 AM

Brrrrr....It is colder than I want it to be. 49 degrees, but feels like it is freezing in the house at 70. There is a dampness to the air that makes it feel cooler than it is. I could use a heat lamp and a heat rock.

Wow so you live in Arizona too?

I live in Glendale and my fiance lives in Phoenix. During the daytime it's 85-90 degrees and it's hot. But once it gets to about 6 PM, the temperature drops and at night it's freezing...mostly because I'm still wearing shorts and a t-shirt and I keep on forgetting to bring a sweater from home ^-^;;

Vamien 10-30-2009 01:16 PM

I live in Florida. It is always hot and humid an unbearable, so I hardly ever go out at all.

Unless my mother thinks it's funny to force me to go out on an errand on my bike, which she expects me to do now, and it is 9:16am.

Jezriel 10-30-2009 01:18 PM

Last night it rained pretty good. This morning, it seems to be all grey and cloudy outside, but not actually leaking from the sky yet. Been a rainy October.

Codette 10-30-2009 01:19 PM

As for Saskatoon Sk. It's kinda chilly, but not to bad, if you throw on an extra layer... which is a good thing, because I get to dress in my halloween costume for school today! ^.^

akinmytua 10-30-2009 01:44 PM

Erie, Pa: the home of bi-polar weather. We had snow a few weeks ago, and a 70 degree day. Today it's 60ish verging on rain, you can never tell though. I think they should send meteorologists here to train. Have you guys ever heard of thunder snow?

Vamien 10-30-2009 01:53 PM

I wish I lived somewhere cold...I used to live in the upper, northern regions of the US, but new times call for new changes, I suppose...not of my own will, of course, but there are things about this place I have come to terms with.

Samphire 10-30-2009 02:09 PM

Here in the South West of England, it is quite mild, around 13 degrees centigrade, I believe. It is a little muggy, and there is a slight breeze. There is also a little bit of mist outside where I live, although that may be due to the fact I live close to the sea. ^^

Michy Lea 10-30-2009 02:15 PM

I'm in south Mississippi. It's about 75 degrees and somewhat cloudy.

Joey Kitsune 10-30-2009 02:25 PM

It's been Hurricane Season for several months, so it's been stormy and tense. T_T

Ponta 10-30-2009 02:44 PM

I'm currently residing in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Today we've got overcast so I'm missing the sun D:

I woke up this morning and was like, "why is it so dark?"

Hoping the sun comes out tomorrow :]
