thanks so much for the comment! Yeah, I'm having a time with foreshortening. |
Wow! It looks so good *-*
yes,one arm look a little short...but it's the pose,I think.... |
it's a great drawing & only a few small mistakes---like they said up there, the arms r just a little to short, & the lest hand looks a little aquward because it looks kinda like right hands, u know? u should make a thumb at the top, it would make it alot better =]
|
I agree the arms are short but i kinda like it like that reminds me of Picasso in away. the colours are great and i want that dress it's so pretty and the face is just adorable.
|
I would have pulled the left arm out to the side more although its a good attempt at foreshortening. :D don't hesitate to look up poses on google, DA or in an anatomy book. It helps, trust me.
Right hand looks a little funky, but i think the shoulders are way to wide(mainly her right one), and thats not really too hard to fix |
Its a cute design! If you wanted to add onto the piece just a little further, I would suggest just a little bit of shading in some areas. Just to make her look not quite so flat! But you did a great job!
|
Honestly, I've seen this one through all the stages, so it's hard for me to really comment without remembering all the work you've put into it. ^^
Okay, the arms will get better once the shading is added. It'll look more obvious that the one arm is foreshortened. As for the arm that's holding the rose, the only thing that bugs me is that it's hard to see the position of the shoulder under the mantle. Shading on that arm should help too. To the good, the clothing looks wonderfully "alive". There is no stiffness or fakeness to it, and the outfit itself is too cute. Good job Lynzel. I think that this one is turning out to be one of your best yet. ^.~ |
I absolutely adore it! I reminds me of Alice in Wonderland and I am obsessed with Alice in Wonderland lately! The colors you use are my absolute favorite.
|
I remember watching you work on this... :D it looks good!

I love it! What's with the colored, confusing circle though? |
^^

It's a fence styled celtic knot-pain to draw but I was using Knots constantly last year as makeshift backgrounds. Thanks so much for the comments.
