Comic VS Movie

Okay, here's what were going to do. For years I have watched movies based on the amazing comics we know and love. (Although I'm sure alot of people have ;) ) Some movies were good, some were amazing, some were alright, some were so bad that the whole theater was quiet when the movie finished.
Some I would like everyone to list the comics/movies you've seen, compare/contrast them, which one is better, and your opinions. Just whatever you have in mind about these movies based on comics.
Plus if you would like, you can talk about the upcoming comic movies as well. Just share! I'll come by once in a while to talk/agree/argue about certain things.

I've always like The X-Men and I think they did a fairly decent job on the movies. They aren't anything fantastic but they aren't bad either. I didn't like the third movie in particular. It started off great but it lost my interest halfway through and the whole thing with Jean was just irritating. They are making a fourth one but I don't know when its coming out. So far they are signing on the actors last time I heard so they could start it. It should be out at the end of next year. They are also making another Origins movie except this time on Magneto which would be amazing. I think they should of did him before Wolverine but whatever. So far they only have the script but have made no move to actually film it. I haven't read about it in a while so my information probably isn't the most accurate.

I usually love or at least like most movies based on comic books, but then most of them I hadn't read the comic for a long time or until after the movie. I find it kind of distracting if I had just read the comic and then saw the movie right after, like with Surrogates. I wanted to just enjoy the movie (it was a good movie) but my mind kept comparing it to the comic. :|

I like that they have been making more movies based on comics though, because seeing some of these movies have introduced me to comics I hadn't read or heard of even. That's how I learned about Tank Girl, was from seeing the movie. Which I loved the movie (despite it's cheesiness), but if I had read the comic first..I don't know if I would have enjoyed it as much.

First, Wolverine has to be the first Origin story, because he's about 100 years older than the rest of the characters!

Now we return to our regulary scheduled program:
I liked the X-Men movies; I know a lot of fans pitched a fit about the uniforms, but if I have to look at Scott, I'd much rather it be in black leather. My only real issue with them was the distinct lack of Gambit and Nightcrawler the Cameo. My two favorite mutants: one of them isn't there and the other doesn't stay. The lack of Gambit/Rogue just made watching the Scott-Jean-Logan mess that much worse.

Wolverine Origins turned out pretty well, except for Remy's (lack of) accent and Deadpool. I was extremely pleased to see all the cameos in cages, especially Emma Frost. That just made me happy. If you aren't offended by gratuitous cussing, check this out: YouTube - Deadpool and Gambit Watch X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Batman Begins and Dark Knight: not bad, Heath rocks everything! *moment of silence* Also, Batman Begins is the best argument for Chicago Gotham ever.

Constantine: words are not sufficent to express my loathing.
