What do you do in class to pass the time
 

Hey just woundering What does everyone do when your stuck in class and it's boring and just ticking slowly by.

Me well I have a labtop so I either messaround on myspace if the I.T. Guy doesn't have it blocked. Or i doodle on my notes. What about you!

I will either read, doodle, or chat with a friend when chatting in class is allowed :3

I like to draw, or, if I don't have to pay attention, read. :)

When I was in high school I would doodle around my note book paper, in collage now, since I take online classes I usually play games while listening to my prof.

Just like everyone else, I would draw. Either on my notes making little doodles, or sometimes I would work on full pieces while the teacher yammered on about things I already knew about. My favorite was in college, though. I sat next to a friend of mine in Philosophy class who was also a really good artist, and we would go back and forth from drawing Final Fantasy characters to farcical caricatures of our insane professor. Good times.

Oh I love this topic! I am a lot like of you in that I doodle. I actually have a hard time remember what was said in class unless I am discussing in class or drawing or taking notes. I can't just sit there. I've been practicing drawing anime girls for awhile. I try to draw guys but they just are plain boring long straight figures with bad hair :{ So I gave up on that. I also attempted a secret code and I think it worked:)

If I can get away with it I read if not I usually daydream or do some writing and stuff. I'm a bit of a geek though because I usually pay attention in class :P

I can't belive nobody said this!!! Nobody chews gum!? Wow, that's what I do!

Draw, sleep, go hang with the teacher, read, make up a game to play with friends, or work on something for another class. Basicly that's what I do if all my work is done and I have nothing else to do at all.

no but seriously, some of my classes I do pay attention about 85% of the time, especially English class, he really is an awesome professor even though he wrecks my nerves o.o

My music class is so boring, but when the professor plays sample audio, it really is great to listen to music that hasn't been Westernized. Oh and in my business class, I almost always pay attention because the professor is very handsome...although the last few classes I couldn't really see him because I lost my glasses. He's Cuban and I was once carrying a book called "The AntiCommunist Impulse" by Parenti, and he gave me a weird look. :( ... Still, the class is also kind of fun too, we have interesting discussions...but when school does get boring I just bring my laptop and "take notes" if you get my drift ;);)

I don't have time to doodle or anything in Psychology class because I have to take notes the whole time. It doesn't go by too slow. Video Production class is fun and it's laid back. American History is interesting. I don't have to take notes and my teacher lectures the whole time. I'm a listener so I don't mind that at all. I just withdrew from math class, but when I went I doodled all over my papers. I hate math with a passion. I hate school. Only twice I drew stuff in my American History class.

I daydream and write fanfictions.

Well, when I was in school my school had laptops for everyone. I had some friends who knew how to hack the system and get past all of the blocks so a bunch of us just screwed around on the internet all day. But usually I did whatever I could to not pay attention in class. It actually turned out quite well for me.

I draw on everything @[email protected] Especially the margins - those things just get loaded with the weirdest crap.

I also do a ton of day dreaming. Mostly it's of whatever writing project I'm working on.

Generally, I read or do homework for other classes. I tend to carry a pile of books from class to class, so I'm very rarely bored. I have so much to do these days that I know if I am bored, I'm forgetting about something I should be doing instead. My life has been a little hectic.

I doodle. A lot. All over my notes.
I have a friend who is an amazing artist and does all his super detailed work in Papermate pen, so I've been practicing shading with my Papermate pens...

actually, when I'm bored in class I just whip out a book and read it. makes me smile hehe.
