Maya laughed along with them."Ha its just a song I made up a while back for my band before they broke up." She started to sing to the tune.
♪~I need your love baby,why must you be so cold....~♪
She got lost in the song after a while, and remembered what it was like playing on a stage in a band, and then the thought came to her as she ended her song.
"Hey, have you guys ever though about making a band?"

"um..well I haven't.. all I play is the flute.." I say embarrassed
I looked at maya and smiled "why did your band break up anyways?" I wanted to know it was interesting to me.

Maya looked up. "Oh, well our bass player got a band offer from a really good band, and when he took it we couldn't find anyone better to replace him.Then my drummer moved away bringing my my brother-slash-background guitarist with him."
After explaining that, she went into her case and dug out an old CD of her band with a picture of them on the front that said Acid 9 on it.

I looked at the CD " that's awesome" I say and I look out the window.." so your in the cabin nest to us?" and then ask "so how long have you been coming to this camp?" and I stand up and finish unpacking my things.

"This is my second year, and my cabin is two down from here."She said as she took the CD back and handed it to Sam.She watched Miku unpack her things."Hey when your done you mind coming over to my cabin and help me clean it up?"

"Not at all" I say "infact I am just about done so Ill do it later come on lets go haha" I say and head towards the door " maybe someone else will be there as well" I say and laugh I felt stupid for laughing cuz there was no reason for it...I told sam I would be right back and she nodded.

(OOC: EEP!! It's a long intro again ToT Sorry!!! ~_~;;; )

The long drive to the camp had seemed to go by in a blur. A huge, fuzzy, messy flump of emotion and boredom. A strange mixture to have on the way to band camp, Sarah thought to herself dazedly. She was glad to be here, but she just wasn't all that sure of what to do now.

Dragging her heavy case to where she thought her dorm was, Sarah glanced around at her surroundings. She'd never been to a band camp before, so she wasn't all that sure of what to expect from the buildings that surrounded her. Should she be amazed? Bored? Excited? She had no idea.

Sarah paused at the door; she could hear voices chattering inside. She was so nervous that she couldn't move another step. Everyone would look at her when she opened this door, and then she'd have to explain who she was, why she was here... gah. Maybe she didn't even have the right door.

Her hand shaking, Sarah twisted the knob of the door, terrified. It swung open with a tiny squeak, and she poked her head inside, feeling herself go pale. Or blushing. She couldn't tell through the nerves.

"Uh..." Sarah began, her voice almost a whisper. She cleared her throat, and started again. "I-is this the room I'm meant to be in?"

Maya looked over at the door where the girl was standing. "Well hi there. This is cabin 4 does it say on your schedule cabin 4?" Maya loved helping people out, but that was probably because of her bubbly attitude.She acted nothing like she looked and it would confuse people all the time.

(SORRY FOR NOT REPLYING SOONER!!! My interenet ran out, and I had to wait for AGES until it re-started!! Sorry ToT)

"Uh... I think it did..." Sarah said, opening the door a fraction wider. Did the girl's response mean that she was allowed to enter? Sarah waited for what to do next.

"Well come on in!" Maya said as she smiled at the girl."We were about to go to my cabin so we could clean up, so go ahead and unpack." Maya started to walk to the door with Miku.
"Lets go." she said.

"Oh - uh - okay," Sarah squeaked, hurrying to get out of the two girl's way. She glanced at the remaining girl, and allowed a small, shy smile to twitch her lips.

"Hi," She said quietly, sounding breathless. Gah! Why couldn't she talk to anyone without that breathlessness? Annoying!

As Maya and Miku walked to the cabin, Maya started to hum the song rose by Anna Tsuchiya. She loved to sing music in different languages.
((sorry we weren't getting that many posts so i needed to post something to get it back and running))

Slightly alarmed by Sam's abruptness, Sarah jumped, but hopefully not enough that the other had noticed. She hesitantly took Sam's hand.

"I'm Sarah," she said, her face flushing shyly. Scrambling to find something else to say, she stuttered, "What instrument do you play?"

Sarah opened her mouth to tell Sam what instrument she played just as the latter burst into song. She watched and listened in awe at the girl's amazing technique. She clapped when she'd finished, feeling motivated.

"That sounded awesome, Sam!" Sarah cried, her eyes shining with excitement. She'd been tapping out the beat with her toes throughout the song; it had been a lot of fun for her. "It'd be awesome if we started a band... you on guitar, and me on drums!"

It was just as she said this that she remembered she hadn't told Sam what instrument she played.

"Oh - I play drums," she added hastily, flushing again.

"Well, here we are." Maya said as she looked around. "Ugh. The cabins look dirtier this year...."
She said as she threw her bag on the bed. "Well, let's get started!"

I smiled back at Sarah blushing myself, "ok so Ill start over here towards the windows" and walked over to the left side of the cabin, which seemed gross..even more so than my cabin.
I bagan to clean while everyone else talked about there band they wanted to make.
I felt left out becouse I mean I play the flute?! I mean really? A freaking flute? LAME.
so I just cleaned and minded my own.

Maya looked over at Miku."Oh yeah, since you play the flute and i also play clarinet, we have to go to the field at 3:00 for marching practice." Maya took out her clarinet case out of her big duffel bag that you could probably fit a piano in if you wanted to. Then as she started dusting off the outside and inside of the drawers so she could put her clothes in them. After she was almost done unpacking her clothes, she decided to help Miku clean.

"oh? I didnt know that." I say I really didnt know we had to go to marching practice? haha lame but it was also exciting. Maya helped me clean and I was greatful.
"thanks for the help" I say not wanting maya to think I am a mean person.

"Aha no problem.I dont want you to clean by yourself."Maya looked at her cell. "We have a long time until were supposed to be at the field, you wanna go look around and see if we can find something fun to do?"

"sure! sounds good" I say and put my cleaning stuff away and grab a jacket and cell.
" I am ready when you are "
and head towards the door. "anyone else wanna join?" I ask knowing the other two are into there music" never mind" I smile

"Okay lets go!" Maya says as she follows Miku out the door.She looks around and remembers there is a pool. "We should all go swimming later tonight..." Then she remembers something else."OH YEAH. Theres this circle of trees inside the woods i found last year.Were not supposed to go in the woods, but you wanna sneak in with me? its really cool 'cause if you go past that theres a lake and these pretty...." Maya noticed she was talking her head off and looked over at Miku. "Ha wait ill let you see for yourself.Wanna go?"

"hecks yess!" I say excited " lets go!" I say walking with maya she has never really broken the rules before but why noT like her parents care right?
