Kristina didn't respond to Evan didn't look at him or anyone else for that matter.She had shoved all her thoughts and emotions away for fear of what they might bring up.She wanted to go lay beside Jerone but was kind of scared of Finx.She finally slowly carefully stood and went to him as a single tear slide down her cheek.She gently laid beside him.Not touching him.Even if she wasn't she was comforted by his presence.She turned her body towards his letting his eyes lock with hers.You won't hurt me babe,it only hurts when I move...His words whispered softly caressingly through her mind.She sighed softly and contemplated on it or not.She gently barely rested her head on him and her arm.

Jerone gave Evan a slight smile but didn't let himself move his arm to wrap around her.He knew he gave her comfort just as much as she gave him.He closed his eyes since he couldn't see her eyes anymore.I love you Kristina...I'm sorry..so sorry that had to happen.I wish I could go back and stop him...He thought to her gently.He felt warmth spread on his shirt where her eyes were and wished her could move himself to hold her but knew it would cause shooting pain to spread through him again...I love you to babe...and it was not your fault.We both wish we could go back and change it but that's not going to happen so let's just pull each other past this?Kristina thought back tears falling freely down her cheeks.

Evan froze "Um...I'll just shut up now. Yeah that sounds good." he said, in surrender backing quietly into the corner. Not good to aggravate a healer. He really should have learned that lesson by now. Especially since his old nurse had stuck him in a tree for the birds amusement until he had apologized for calling her old. Then again it wasn't good to call a woman old...never turned out well for him.

Fone grinned and nodded "Can do." he said following behind starunner quietly.

finx sighed "tea sounds good. are you two going to be alright? Evan dont worry i wouldnt hurt you unless you hurt gemini then ill shot first ask questions later."

gemini laughed."i'll go make that tea,and then get to bed.i'm exhausted!" she said,almost too tired to walk.

finx smiled "yeah tea" her mood changing in the blink of an eye

gemini sighed and went to make the tea.she came back and gave finx her cup,taking a smal sip from her own."i made your favorite.i'm going to bed." she said,taking her cup and walking out of the room,waving goodnight.

finx sipped her tea joyfully "well now that thats done" she had finished in a blink of the eye and set her cup down "night all"

Evan shrugged and wandered off down a random hallway hoping to find some room to sleep in. He would have gone with Gemini, but he wasn't entirely sure she would want him too....that and he had kind of spaced out when she left and hadn't seen which way she'd gone. But he would never admit to that.

Fone yawned "Are we almost there?" he asked tiredly.

starrunner entered a small cozy room that seemed made for them.we're here.pick a nest. he said,going to a pile of blankets and pillows that he had made into a nest earlier.he layed down in it and yawned.goodnight,ototo.

Fone grinned "Night Starrunner!" he barked sleepily before finding a couple of blankets and pillows and putting them into a pile and flopping down on it not even bothering to spread it out and make it more comftorable with walking in circles like he normally would. He was asleep in seconds.

Evan opened a random door and seeing a slightly dusty from disuse queen size bed he went in and lay down on it, trying to get to sleep, though it seemed he was to tired to do even that.

gemini wandered the halls,looking for a room to sleep in.she was almost too tired to walk,and was using the walls for suport.she found a room with the door open and walked in,blinking in the darkness.she saw a bed and flopped down on it,only to realize that there was somone already in it.thy smelled like..."evan? how the hell did i end up choosing the one room with you in it?" she said,mostly to herself,because she couldn't tell if he was asleep or not.

finx went into her room and floped on to the bed falling asleep fast.

Evan groaned "Gem?" he shook his head slightly and looked over at her "Good I'm not imagining things because of fatigue...so...Night? I guess?" he asked, head flopping back down on the pillow. This caused a cloud of dust to poof up around him making him sneeze.

gemini laughed."goodnight." she said,quickly falling asleep.

Jerone gritted his teeth and moved his arm to rest softly around her.The additional pain only lasted momentarily.Of course...I'll never leave your side again...No one,no one's going to hurt you ever again.I don't care it is there not going to hurt you.Kristina...He thought tears springing to his eyes.He didn't let her feel them slip down his cheeks as he gulped them back.The thought of loosing her almost shattered his heart.

Kristina hugged him as best she could as she looked up and into his eyes.I know...you know I won't let anyone hurt you...no matter what it takes.I'd go through all the pain again just to make sure you were safe....She whispered into his thoughts as warm tears silently fell down her cheeks.She leaned up and kissed the single shed tear off his cheek.As she felt his body go slack as exhaustion took him over she softly kissed his cheek and let the blackness take her as well...

Jerone woke with a start his heart racing and in a cold sweat.He shifted his hold on Kristina so he could slip out from under her.He grimaced as his sore body protested.He didn't care he had to get some fresh air...He rested her back down and started for the front door.

Kristina slowly came back to consciousness as she felt Jerone stir.She opened her eyes and saw his state."What's wrong?"She asked her voice groggy."Do you want me to go with you?"She added.

Jerone didn't look back but replied."Just stay here love i'll be right back..."He said so he wouldn't upset her with some other response.He didn't go outside not wanting to be to far from her but opened a window a held his head gently in his hands as he rested his elbows on the seal of the window.

Kristina didn't listen and gently walked up behind him.She softly ran her hands along his back as she tapped into his thoughts to see what was upsetting him.She grimaced at the random flashes of his dreampt images.She gently kissed his cheek and then copied his posture waiting till he looked at her."I'm still here love...you don't need to worry about me..."She whispered softly as he embraced her a worried expression on his face.

Finx woke up slowly yawning confused at first not sure why she was in a fancy bed. Then she remebered she had been fired went to gemini and was allowed to stay here. She lifted herself up and went to make breakfast.

gemini woke up slowly,stretching.it didn't seem strange to her that she didn't recognize where she was.that had become normal for her.it did seem strange,however,that there was a person nexto to her.but the person was comfortable,and she didnt want to get up just yet,so she snuggled closer to them as if they were a teddy bear and just lay there.

Finx made breakfast and opened the kitchen door nowing the smell would at least get gemini down there in a flash she yelled "BREAKFAST"

Jerone sighed softly and kissed her forehead."I know but...that dream was so real..."He whispered softly trying to get the images out of his head.

Kristine smiled softly at him and kissed his lips."I'm here...and no ones gonna take either us away from each other...ever again..."She said her voice dripping with venom when she said ever again.Her hunger was rising but it wasn't for food...She sighed at the thought as he throat started to dry slightly.

Jerone smiled tightly back and cringed as Finx yelled."Wanna go see if there's anything to our liking?"He asked with a quirked eyebrow.His eyes still held that slightly worried expression and some of the gruesome images were still lingering in his mind but he ignored his emotions and his mind and tried to fix himself with a task that would take his mind off of the dream...

Kristina laced her fingers threw his and ran his thumb softly,soothingly across his knuckles."Ya let's go..."She said trying to ignore his emotions like he tried to even if she was worried about him there was nothing more she could do for him except be here.Kristina and Jerone walked into the kitchen hand in hand each flashed Finx a smile."Good morning Finx how are you?"Kristina asked as she looked around for a bottle of blood...

Evan woke up with a start at finx's cry of 'breakfast', he ended up getting tangled in the blankets and falling to the floor taking Gemini with him. He looked over at her as he untangled himself "Sorry, Are you alright?"

gemini found herself falling hard on the floor next to evan."oof! yeah,i'm alright.did i hear breakfast?" she asked,her mind instantly turning to the all-too familiar call of finx's voice like a trained dog.
