I hope so too.

Alaunt 07-25-2010 10:50 PM

Yeah . . .

So . . . anything new on your end?

Clair Voyant 07-25-2010 10:53 PM

Nope. Though, I found a new manga/anime series that's really good. ^^

Clair's momma made chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert.

Alaunt 07-25-2010 10:58 PM

Oh. What is it?

Man. I wish my parents would do that!

Clair Voyant 07-25-2010 10:59 PM

It's Called Dogs. :D

jupiter 07-26-2010 05:15 AM

I've heard of that series, funny enough. I'm not a big graphic-novel reader, so I don't know a lot, but I can recognize the art and that was one of the ones I'm familiar with. It looked interesting enough, but at the time there wasn't a lot out about it, so I never pressed for any more information.

Life here is quiet for now. Only the sound of raindrops.

Clair Voyant 07-26-2010 10:16 AM

It's good. Clair used to read graphic novels and manga a lot more when she was in middle school and freshman year, but not often anymore. She got into a few series that she still really enjoys, though. :) And she did find Dogs to be interesting, so she bought it for herself. Now she's dying to get the next book.

Angel Spirit Girl 07-26-2010 12:12 PM

Sorry to hear about that happening at work.

I worried about loosing commission to the person I was working with at my former job.

Alaunt 07-26-2010 03:11 PM

What do you mean angel?

Clair, is it "called dogs", "it's called dogs", or just "dogs"?

Clair Voyant 07-26-2010 04:56 PM

Just "Dogs", Alaunt. :)

I'm at work right now, on a 40 minute break. I got about 20 mins left to it. Anyone here?

Alaunt 07-26-2010 07:11 PM

Well, I'm here now, but it's too late. >.> I'll be back on in around . . . Four hours.

Clair Voyant 07-26-2010 09:15 PM

Yeah, Clair just got of work. She's exhausted.

Alaunt 07-26-2010 11:40 PM

Then rest dear Clair! Rest!

Clair Voyant 07-26-2010 11:54 PM

Clair is relaxing. :D

Alaunt 07-26-2010 11:58 PM

>.< Well then . . . Run in circles!

jupiter 07-27-2010 03:51 AM

Same here. I just had a nice coffee, so I'm feeling a bit sleepy.
I was surprised when I came on, today; I had two trades waiting for me. One from Silver Magi and the other from Nalin. I forgot that I had entered an avatar in the user-run event, so I was searching frantically to find out why I had these trades. It caught me completely offguard! I'm delighted though, because one of the prizes included the neck feathers that I adore.
One day I'll own them all.

Clair Voyant 07-27-2010 10:34 AM

Why can't I relax, Alaunt? :(
I worked ten hours yesturday...

Well, I was let go from my job at the vitamin store, but we would get commission on the people we rung up. If we were not the person to ring them up, we didn't get the commission.

Alaunt 07-27-2010 02:28 PM

Sounds like what I get at my job . . . But, we're semi-commission based.

jupiter 07-27-2010 07:49 PM

Well, that's a commission after all, ahahaha.
One of the furriers here in town used to hire native women to sell their fur. And as they were about to close the deal, the wife or the owner would swoop in and finish so that they didn't have to give the employees the commission. He's a pretty corrupt [profuse swearing here].

Nordstrom girls work on commission.

Clair Voyant 07-27-2010 08:22 PM

Like my sig? :D

Angel Spirit Girl 07-27-2010 09:15 PM

I got an hourly pay there, but a commission, too. Yup.

That was rude of the furrier.

Your sig pic is cute, Clair. ^^

Clair Voyant 07-27-2010 09:27 PM

Thanks. I worked hard on it.

Alaunt 07-28-2010 12:42 AM

Yeah. We get hourly pay as well as hours depending on how well we get friends and transactions. PWP's, it doesn't really matter . . . especially since our current one is ridiculous. It's a Ripstop Travel Hanging Kit for $14.50 (Original $24.50) . . . Most of our PWP's range from $4.99-9.99 . . .

jupiter 07-28-2010 07:44 AM

It's an adorable signature piece!
I was just admiring it in another thread, actually.
