I apologize for the sporadic responses. I haven't been as active on Menewsha as I had hoped to be.
Nothing really. I'm just relaxing here and finishing a few commissions that are long overdue. I still have to sign up for some classes, but they're all full, so I'll be chatting with professors to let me into their registry. I'm tired of taking math and science; I want to have some fun and look forward to school, not loathe the very thought of it. If you don't mind me asking, why are they so...ah...intent on bullying you? |

Same here. Man. I have to work from 1-5 tonight. I'll be getting home around 11:30/12:00 . . . Then on friday and saturday I close from 5-9:30. Sunday I close 3-7. Then I work on Tuesday and Thursday with shifts from 2-6 and 1-5 (again) . . . Then friday I close from 5-9:30 and saturday . . . I close 3-9:30. I haven't worked a friggin' six hour shift for an entire year! Man I'm going to be a dead woman walking. |

I'm starting to feel that way, too. And it's terrible! I know that we're told all through school that we need to go to college. That we need to know what we're doing for the rest of our lives. Then suddenly a major =/= a career, but we're supposed to pay up for one anyway. I've met so many professors who suck the life out of..well, life! I'm tired of being treated like a customer who can't afford anything, a student who just couldn't possibly grasp a concept, and a kid. I'm an adult already, and I am so sick of this school crap.
I have five days until the next semester starts, and I couldn't be more upset. I just don't want to go anymore. I don't know if it's that school, or school in general. I feel like since I started going to a university I've become more cynical. I haven't learned anything new, my life hasn't been enriched and I haven't done the same for others. I've become some bitter adult fresh out of youth. |
Yeah. I don't need or want it, but I have to have it since I want to get a good pay grade once I start up in my career . . . |
