I was fortunate enough to have avoided the entire debacle. If it hadn't been mentioned, I would never have known! And I don't read the announcements often enough to really keep my head above water. Nope, nothing really fun this week... although, I'm excited for Church on Sunday... that's my favorite day of the week.
For the majority of my week, I worked, and when I wasn't at work, I was trying to figure out when I'll get my finacial aid. I was one of the earliest submitters (I submitted it in January, and I should have top priority), but it didn't come in in time...so I had to pay my first bill out of my own pocket... and that's a bum. :/ |

Yes. I've been there in person this past week, and I've called them many times. I'm still in the pile. >.>

Uhhhg, if it's one thing I can't stand, it's incompetence.
I hate stuff like that. I hate when businesses say "We'll call you," and never even have the intention to call or customers say ''I'll be back," and never return. It's terribly rude, and it mucks up other things for people like having to pay when you've applied for financial aid. |

I'd believe it was a hard job except that I know for a fact federal employees milk all the hours they can get out of a program. The Census alone, my god, the office employees were so incredibly incompetent that you had to wonder if it wasn't really a big joke or Punk'd show.
I think they're just being incompetent. You miss your taxes by a few days and my gosh they are after you so fast. They should use that same speed for granting money to students. |

Same with any university or business, but I hardly ever see it. Don't get me wrong, I love our government, but I think there could be some reform in terms of efficiency. |
