That is just wrong. Because he's married to the department head doesn't give her a f**king right to be biased on a STUDENTS grade as a MANAGER of other TEACHERS. She should have looked at the system in terms of a teacher knowing what works best for the students. Geez. |
Wow. That sounds extrememly bogus.
I hope he gets fired one of these days. He sure deserves it, it seems. |
I'm surprised he hadn't been attacked on campus by other students, really. I don't know that anyone would pull a person off of him if they went for it.
Mmhm, imagine our surprise to hear that right out of the person's mouth. It's a POGIL system where they place you in groups in a classroom so that students teach one another rather than the professor. The problem being that if no students understand the material or we arrive at a question we cannot answer, the professor will not give us the answer or explain it. He actually called the campus police on a girl when she wouldn't leave the classroom. Her crime? She asked a question about a problem that he wouldn't answer, and instead of lowering her head in defeat she kept asking him the same question over and over again until he threw a fit and ran out of the room to get the police. I was amazed that someone--an adult--would behave like that. So it has made me quite cynical towards adults with cushioned benefits and professors. |
Yeesh. I'd say thats pretty bogus. What a crappy ass teacher.
|
My math teacher told us this story about a student who answered "Divide 0 by 8" with "bull shit" and my teacher accepted that answer as correct.
|
Wow, that's ridiculous.
I drew a picture for an answer once. |
@Clair:
LOL. Omg, awesome teacher, student, and answer. |
I know! xD I had that test yesterday, and we had to make a bar graph (yeah, Clair is in Idiot math) and she designed the bar graph to be "The Number of times students pronounce '42' in Mr. Lee's 8am math class" and Mr. Lee had zero misspronouceations. xD It's an on going joke in his class. So, hopefully, he'll find that funny.
|
xD
Quite creative too. And don't worry, I'm HORRIBLE at math. Edit: I guess that's what I get for being an English buff. |
Yeah, I agree with you there. Math, not my forte, English, yeah. xD
|
English is so interesting for some reason.
It's always been my strong point. o.o The use of who and whom is tricky for me though |
Effect and Affect are where I get tripped up most the time. xD
|
I think effect is a noun and affect is a verb.
That's the only thing I've gotten from them. |
I love math, actually. :3
And English, too. |
Clair just has a hard time understanding numbers. :headdesk:
|
That makes too of us.
:gonk: |
two* ;P
And i'm pretty good with numbers, actually. I enjoy math. |
Oh crap.
lol. Thank you. xD Honest mistake. I hate it. D: I can grasp the concept of it, but then I forget easily. |
Me, too. I don't understand stupid equations like... quadratic cubic equations.
And things like imaginary numbers... WHAT THE HELL!? How do you DIVIDE WITH A NUMBER THAT IS JUST A THEORY!? |
The quadratic cubic thing just makes my head hurt automatically. x_x;;
|
I love formulas, because they make everything so much easier
|
Well that's definitely true. But I have a hard time remembering those too.
|
Math just sticks well in my head, usuall
|
Luckehhh.
