It's not a bad holiday, and I certainly love all the food and gifts, but it's not my favourite.

We had one year, when we didn't think we'd have snow for Christmas. We all went to bed Christmas eve night really disappointed. When we woke up, there was a layer of white everywhere. :heart: It was awesome.

I hated Thanksgiving as a kid. Just hated it! But I enjoy all the food these days.
I think my favourite would have to be Hallowe'en and Valentine's. |

I really want to learn--and perhaps one day participate in--those Eastern holidays. Chinese New Year, all those cute Japanese festivals, those festive Indian traditions, all of them. |

It's not only a Parade, it's a festival too. It's a lot of fun. First you see the parade, which has a lot. And there are also a lot of cosplayers on that day. Then you can see some performances and whatever else you can find that day is fun also. I didn't get to go last year, but I wanna go this year.

Yeah, DC is famous (for many reasons) for Cherry Blossoms and the parade celebrating them. :3

I've seen a couple movies where the cherry blossoms were in bloom that particular season. It was so pretty and enchanting! The blossoms looked like fluffy snow all over the place! I would love to live in a place like that; we only have the cottonwood trees which can be just as lovely.

The only blooms I see are the granny smith blossoms, Myrtle blossoms, and cherry blossoms. Not the actually Japanese cherry blossom type. A different type of cherry blossom.
